  1. If MAF goes back to Minny then Talbot becomes available. That would be in their ballpark.
  2. Casey DeSmith back to Pitt on a 2 year deal. $1.8 per
  3. Move him or Bryson to Vegas for Hague. They need to move out money and will be looking for cheap options that can play minutes.

  5. See, great minds think alike😂 If this poster says to mark his words then the Sabres have to take him.😀 With Hutson I just found it interesting that Adams and crew mentioned about how they look at family members for growth patterns and then Hutson mentioned about his doctors saying he will grow a few more inches. I know Craig Button loves the kid. He will be an interesting one to follow in a few years and see how he ends up.
  6. At #9 I’m hoping to see Nemec or Jiricek slide or Savoie, Lekkerimaki or Kasper be the pick. Not interviewing Kemell I think is a tell that he won’t be the pick there. 16 is wide open. Does a guy like Nazar fall there. Do they take Yurov. Is Geekie there and do they like the value. Do they have one of the LHD ranked there. Are one of the Swedish forwards there that they like. #28 is an absolute crapshoot.
  7. LOL it might be worth it just to see you snap😀 I’m not dying on a Hutson hill. I just think he is the ultimate swing for the fences if he does grow a few inches. McKenzie has him at 40 so he might be an option at #41 although there will be other good players in that range.
  8. The Swing for the Fences Draft round: Savoie, Yurov, Hutson Hutson mentioned his doctors say he should grow a few more inches. He is the most dynamic offensive dman in the draft. He is interesting and would be great at #41. No idea if he makes it to there though. It is going to be so wide open after the top 10. This is going to be such a crazy draft. I can see Arizona taking Gauthier at #3. I could see one of Nemec and Jiricek not being the the first 2 D selected and being there at #9. The Russian goalie being detained will probably muddy the Russian angle of the draft even more. I wonder if Adams loaded up on 6th and 7th round picks because they have a couple Russians in mind that they think will really fall to that area. Guys that might have 3rd round grades but could be available at the end of the draft because of current conditions.
  9. Adams will trade for a starting goalie and half this board’s heads will explode not knowing what to complain about😛
  10. Savoie would be the guy I would be happiest with at #9. He reminds me a lot of Briere with the build, skating, shot and feistiness. But with the injection of the Analytics Dept and Forton and crew’s work the past few years I will be happy with whoever the pick is there. If we keep all 3 picks I think we will be adding 3 very good pieces even if some might disagree with the individual picks at the time.
  11. Bob, Reimer, Quick, Gibson, Blackwood, Talbot If MAF goes back to Minny, Varlamov, Hellebuyck if the Jets blow it up, Allen, both Washington goalies, Georgiev are all names that have been mentioned that could be available.
  12. Karmanos said in an earlier interview that UPL needed more time in Rochester. He needs to dominate down there for a stretch and be a difference maker. Mostly he needs to stay on the ice.
  13. So upset that Adams said Anderson is for backup and they are looking for a starter. Nothing was more enjoyable then seeing the constant posts about how they were going to do nothing and it was going to be the same as last year😛
  14. Nic Hague and James Reimer. I feel like these will be two acquisitions this summer.
  15. Scouch has reservations about Savoie yet still ranks him high in the top 10. Scouch is in love with transitions. Guys that can skate the puck out of the zone, thru neutral ice and into the offensive zone. This is his biggest reason for loving Lambert. I think he places too much emphasis on it but it is his thing.
  16. How do you know we weren’t interested?
  17. Vegas are still in cap trouble and rumours of Hague being a cap causality. Might be the cash strapped team Adams was referring to be in trade talks with.
  18. So Adams mentioned about being in talks with a team that is cash strapped about a deal. Dreger stated Adams is looking to add forwards. Fiala trade smoke picking up according EF.
  19. Development camp is not the Prospects tournament. College players can attend development camp. Prospects tournament is inSeptember and college and Euro players miss the tournament because their seasons are ramping up.
  20. He said hewants to bring a goalie in for a couple years. I know a really good goalie in Winnipeg with 2 years left on his contract and a franchise that might need to move Scheifele, Wheeler and Dubois. That make Hellebuyck more likely to be moved too.
  21. Bob doesn’t scout or rank players himself. He talks to NHL scouts and his list is an aggregate of the scouts rankings. His list is the best because it shows what the actual NHL scouts and front offices are thinking and is always the best indicator of how the draft will go. There will always be outliers though.
  22. Would the Pens even have enough prospects to field a team? Their teams the past few years have been sad.
  23. Wonder what Montreal does at #1. Takes the pressure off if they were leaning away from Wright.
  24. https://thehockeywriters.com/maple-leafs-blackhawks-blockbuster-trade-debrincat-dach-muzzin-mrazek/ I have seen some one sided asinine trade proposals in my time but this is from a guy writing for a website. Coles Notes version for those that don’t want to read: Chicago trades DeBrincat, Dach and Murphy (while retaining salary) to Toronto for Mrazek, Muzzin and a 1st round pick.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
  25. 1919 was first Memorial Cup. 1972 the 3 League Champions started playing each other for the Memorial Cup. 1983 started the 4 team tournament which added the host city as the 4th team to boost attendance.
