FTWD was so much better than I expected. I agree with PA in that I am actually more excited to see how this story turns out than the original WD, which has grown stale to me. I'm glad to have both series to enjoy (more or less) for now.

Regarding Carson, I really just can't wrap my head around a surgeon (or any other medical Dr) who thinks evolution is BS. Even the most basic level of understanding of biology proves that evolution is demonstrably true, and one would think that a medical Dr would understand basic biology. I would not want anyone with so much cognitive dissonance anywhere near the presidency based on this one issue alone, let alone the others mentioned above.

This sucks. When it's 3rd or 4th down late in a game in a clutch situation, I want Fred on the field over all those other guys. Dude is clutch. Only thing that makes sense is if they told him he's gonna be way down on the depth chart and rarely see the field. Then they mutually agreed to let him go elsewhere so he can play. Plenty of time to shop around and more than a few teams that could really use him. I'm 100% sure that Belicheat will try to sign him, and I'm praying that doesn't happen. I want him to go to a contender, but just not NE. I'm super-pumped about T-Mobile being named the starter, but this Fred news really stings. :cry: linky no worky

Missed by a year, dammit. Time flies for sure. Joined during the glorious chaos that was the 05-06 playoff run, stayed for the good peeps and respectful but humorous convo. Thanks gents (and a few ladies). I wonder how Millbank is.

For now I'm sticking with Windows 7 until I have a compelling reason to upgrade (unlikely) or until my next desktop. I don't care that it's free. It will be essentially free when I buy a new desktop someday anyways. Is there anything ground-breaking that Win10 can do that my Win7 can't? (really asking).

This. I haven't used a blade in probably 20 years and I honestly can't imagine why anyone would go to all that trouble/mess/expense when Braun cordless electrics do such a great job. Maybe it depends on the coarseness of one's facial hair, but mine feels pretty darn coarse after a day or two and my electric still gets it baby-butt smooth.

Why do people think Reich would be a good HC? We have one of the richest owners in the NFL now, who has shown that he is willing to spend. With no salary cap for coaches, we should be able to get almost anyone we want. This should give us a huge advantage. Then again, anyone considering coming here would want an assurance of multiple years, given that we have no QB and no #1 next year. Arghh!!! :angry:
