So I always check TickPick to try and find cheap concerts or sports events to go to and as I was scrolling I saw two Brand New shows in the NYM area with tickets for $2 (yes, $2 with no fees added). That got me curious so I checked the band page and sure enough all dates have stupid cheap tickets. If you don't know the story: Years back it came out the lead singer did some bad things involving women (including some underage) and this is their big comeback tour. So apparently some more bad stuff involving women came out a few months back and now horrified fans who were somehow stunned that the guy who did bad things did more bad things that hadn't been disclosed were dumping their tickets. I mean, you knew the guy did bad stuff so why are you shocked that more stuff came out?

In any other place a franchise star giving an interview like that would lead to a media and online frenzy, in Terry's Nuthouse it's just another day and nobody cares.

For the crimes he has committed against the hockey fans of WNY Terry should be dragged out to Alumni Plaza, be tarred and feathered and then put in stockade to be pelted with expired produce. I wish I had the power to wish him away into a cornfield like the Twilight Zone. The stink is the clueless putz who owns us.

Adams has ***** up as hard as any GM has ever ***** up, he is as complete and total a failure as any executive in the history of pro sports and somehow STILL KEPT HIS JOB. This is not a serious organization.

You could pair Dahlin with a scarecrow (or even Matt Tennyson) and get comparable results.

0-11 is what happened when Dahlin was out injured. Byram was put in Dahlin's slot and the team was essentially the expansion Caps. Also +/- is the single most useless and worthless stat in all of hockey.

If you asked me "What is the absolute dumbest move they could possibly make" trading Helenius for either of those two would probably be my answer.

The thing with Adams is the perfect example why this organization is a joke: The rationale for not sacking the guy was he has one year left on his deal and Terry doesn't want to pay a guy not to work. Then they go out and hire a guy who would be far more credible as the GM as a babysitter for Kevyn. Now they get the worst of both worlds: They don't save any money by letting Kevyn finish up the year and the competent guy they hired isn't the guy in charge. You couldn't possibly come up with anything more ass backwards if you tried.

If you have a GM with a half decade long track record of being a total ***** up then him making a move that defies all logic is likely the way to bet.

To give credit where it's due: Steve Dangle is the guy who came up with that line on his podcast.

I couldn't care less. What I DO care about is that last season was a biblical catastrophe and getting something back for Mitts that prevented that from happening would've been an actual win.

Trading one asset that isn't helping your team for another asset that isn't helping your team is not a win. A win is trading an asset for an asset that improves your team. What makes it even more hilarious are the rumors of Byram being traded for a late first in a horrible draft.

He traded an asset for someone who was as useful to the roster as a screen door submarine who he now has to move just over a year later. How is that a "win"?

Adams is a historically bad GM so I absolutely can see him not getting an actual player back in a Byram deal.

Dahlin isn't mentioned because they know the only way he gets traded is if Kevyn Adams were to drop a ton of acid.
