Seth wasn't a particularly good college coach, really wasn't anything special as Amerks coach (he was carried by talent and largely underachieved outside of the one fluke playoff run) and completely sucked as an NHL assistant.

If you watch the video closely you can see Allan Walsh sticking his hand up Frank's arse. Seriously, Frank acting as Walsh's mouthpiece here couldn't be more obvious.

How can I put this in a tact manner: Worrying about a Tuch extension is a moot point as the odds of signing Marner (essentially a pipe dream) are far better than Tuch signing an extension. Unless a biblical miracle occurs Tuch will be dealt at the deadline for a late round 2027 first before he can walk as a UFA. He is as good as gone and accepting that fact will make it far less painful when it actually happens.

The league needs to step in at this point because Terry lacks the basic competency needed to run an NHL team. Until he sells the team or dies there is literally no hope.

How can anyone have any hope when you realize Terry and his band of clueless morons see Seth Appert as some hockey genius head coach in waiting? There is absolutely nothing in that man's resume that suggests he is any good at his job.

The idea our "reward" for the single most catastrophic failure of a season in team history is likely a AAAA "not an AHL player but not an NHL player either" guy is just beyond depressing.

The theory is the league did it as a make good for hosing them out of the ASG (which the team used access to as a renewal incentive BTW). (Yes I know it's total nonsense).
