It's so difficult. I was in the sign Skinner camp, same for Eichel of course. If they didn't the average fan would have continued with the narrative re: TP / greedy owners, etc. It would have taken huge GM balls to not sign either one of them. Sadly it now seems both were big mistakes. Optimistically Jack figures it out and or "with the right pieces" (RK, staal, hall) they can get him into a role where it works for the team. Because if/when he leaves and goes to a team with established culture, identity, and leadership you know what's gonna happen.

Agree. Risto brings some attitude and force vs Reinhart who is finesse. We have enough finesse on this team already (as Risto said well in the post game yesterday).

Hopefully he's quick to switch it up after the 1st period if we are scoreless / not generating chances. I really like Hall's game, was not familiar with it since west coast and sleepy Devils, been a pleasure to watch so far.

Tom Wilson had Sabres scared last night. Ray was bad "hutts had a good game", but at least he called Reinhart out for avoiding him / the front of the net. On the whole I think this is the #1 missing piece from our top 6. Tavares, Ovechkin, Marchand, Giroux, Crosby all play with more moxy than any our our "stars". They truly lead their teams.
