  1. I've watched him when I went to a few Rochester games, he'll do for a 3/4 liner. I was much more impressed with Bailey and Baptiste.
  2. LOL Well, shouldn't be difficult to identify area's to work on
  3. Nice tip. Pk continues to be a dagger in the heart for this club.
  4. That was ugly from Nyquist. Got to figure some kind of punishment is coming for that. But then again, who knows.....
  5. I believe what he said was he's not making calls to trade Kane. He didn't mention whether he wouldn't listen to calls made to him. But overall, I do agree with you, he would have to get a knock his socks off and rub his feet on the beach while drinking an umbrella drink offer.
  6. Sunday, my only day off each week. I can finally watch a game, YAY. Come on boys, just win!
  7. Don't kid yourself, if Murray can get top price for Kane, he went hesitate to move him. As is confirmed here: WGR 550‏ @WGR550 Kane available for trade, will only be dealt for right price (link: http://bit.ly/2lsR2yE)bit.ly/2lsR2yE 3:09 PM · Feb 10, 2017
  8. I understand, I am looking long term at his role on the team. He's a good fit on Jacks RE but has the potential to be so much more is what I attempted to convey.
  9. Reinhart may not be flashy and his speed is concerning, but he seems to be finding chemistry on Jack's wing. Personally, I think we can do better for Jack speed wise down the road, say in 4 or 5 years. That's when I'd look to give Sam his own line. His size also somewhat concerns me, for now. But he looks to be developing into a premier play making forward/center. Never a bad thing if you are looking to roll 3 pure scoring lines.
  10. Kane has been as advertised by Murray. It all comes down to length of term and cost, and that is even if he wants to stay here, which none of us know if he does. Given the unknowns and the variables involved in both his game play injury loss time and annual average of roughly 25 goals / 25 assists per season to date, I'm inclined to offer him 5.25 for 5 years. That means no raise and carries him to 32 years old at that new contracts end. I'd be unwilling to go beyond that given the banner game he plays until we get to that point and see how he's held up. If he's unwilling, move him.
  11. I never did like Kadri. Wish Marcus would tune him up.
  12. I love da-Bylsma. I love him if he go coach in Boston
  13. Sucks that I'm at work. But wgr is keeping it real for me
  14. Well, he does tend to get it to the opponents sticks in an expeditious manner :P
  15. So sad to hear this MODO. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers. And your right, always a special bond with mom. What can we do to help?
  16. If they can't get possession time up this game it will be a slaughter. I'd like to see crisp, tape to tape short passes on the breakouts.
  17. I noticed Tampa had a scout listed at the Ducks-Sabres game. Tampa looking for D help? Is that right? If so I wonder if Kulikov is getting that much attention given Tampa's position in the standings. Of course, I could have everything upside down and the Sabres are actually looking to take a peak at Minny.
  18. Love that movie. The Bylsma Riddle. That is what I call the current system. Does he not trust the players to carry it in? Is there real adjustments being made? And not just in game but structured by opponent ad well as by our own players strengths? I don't see it. Maybe I'm just not paying enough attention. But that old saying comes to mind: "the definition of insanity, doing the same thing over and over again expecting a different result"............
  19. Reading Pittsburg has been heavily scouting Buffalo these past weeks culminating in their AGM at the game last night. Olli Maatta?
  20. But who? That is the question. Franson? Kulikov? Gionta? And what of contracts with term, even 1 year? Moulson? Ennis? Gorges? Bogosian? And what of borderline RFA's? Foligno? Girgensons? There is a great deal of dead weight on this team to be honest. If dead line deals can give equal talent potential at a different position of need, you take it. If a deal presents itself to give up a known talent level to fill depth potential talent, you take it. It may not appear like it, but this squad is a disaster outside of a handful of core players. In order to stay the course and maintain the objective of being a perennial cup contender changes must be made. This dead line may afford a couple of those changes without reversing what gains have been made.
  21. Yikes, 4 - 1 ........ Errrrr 4 - 2 Looks like I be glad I worked overtime tonight
  22. I agree with him. While I'm a proponent of moving Kane for the right deal, it is hard to make a case to move him. I guess the only real concern is length and cost of next contract. Let's see what, if anything significant, gets thrown at Murray for him.
