I guess we need 3 more #1 overall dfefensmen who can actually play defense when needed also.

The NFL supposedly gives recommendations for hiring coaching/GM candidates from what I've heard. The NHL you have to just wing it, I'm not 100% on that so don't quote me but it makes more sense if true.

I’m probably 1 of the more harsher critics of Dahlin. His offensive game is really good but his situational awareness especially at key times is mid to mediocre imo and his defensive game still to me is mid not elite but I still blame coaching, this guy should be a Drew Doughty who can score by now and it’s pretty sad that he isn’t. With all that said stripping the C from him makes little sense or any of the others this season at least as Dahlin is our best player on the ice most nights.

The fact that we would trade him to Detroit says everything. There is not much we would want other than Raymond, Larkin, Seider or Edvinson which none of those players will be dealt most likely so we’d be getting fleeced by a division rival just to save money, typical. If Pegula wants yacht money just sell the team already.

Roster construction and coaching are killing us. We have a bunch of skilled players who have a knack for scoring goals but rely on others to go into the dirty areas of the ice (along the boards, in front of the net) for that skill to work and the only problem is we only have a select few players who are willing to do that and some of them just do it every now and again. As for the coaches, the entire assistant coaching staff should be let go (There is no way they're firing Appert as you can tell he is going to be our next HC) none of them should have kept their jobs to begin with. Also Seth Appert can't even get the power play going so why do they just want to hand this guy the next HC gig? I don't understand.

Ship half of these guys off for players who battle in the corners, win faceoffs, stand in friont of the net, why is the only player in front of the the other teams net our 5'8" Benson? These guys are just ***** lazy at everything.

These guys are talented but man they make some really questionable calls, Very wreckless players at key times imo.

So sad that Lindy Ruff is clearly a puppet, Seth Appert is the guy getting angry, in the players ears, There really might be no end in sight.

Krebs on the Power Play

There is our muscle, Peyton Krebs who falls like a sack of potatoes.

These guys have no situational awareness, they just chuck the puck aimlessly into a spot without any concern for the puck being intercepted by the other team. It's happened 6 times total so far in this game alone.
