I think the last 2 1/2 games have felt exactly like RK is once again behind the bench. This is already no longer the same Sabres team from the first 4-5 games of the season.

Sabres have been outscored 5-0 in the 3rd period on this west coast trip so far. Not good.

The next 3 are all winnable as well. Have the Sabres ever gone 4-0 on a western road trip and I mean ever? I don’t recall it if so.

Gotta be a big confidence builder. Gotta learn to play 60 minutes but I feel like we’ve been wishing for that for the better part of 11+ years

This west coast trip is definitely set up nicely for 5-6+ points, which would be huge for this young group at this point in time. Gotta find a way to get 2 points now.

Sabres need to win this one in OT/SO. Blowing a 3-0 lead definitely could be a big confidence blow to a young team early this season.

Lots of standing around and watching. Would it hurt to put a hit on someone in front? Apparently too much to ask.

Born and raised in Niagara County from the 60s to the early 90s. Then Arizona for a couple years, Maryland for 20+ years, now North Texas for the past couple years.

I think if all NHL teams had the chance to play a goalie in his first NHL game they would pick the Sabres to do it against.

Rough weekend for predictions

No doubt. And for some reason people mistakenly thought it would be close to a sell out tonight. Although sadly this probably will be one of the biggest crowds of the year.

Dunleavy always has been and always will be horrible. And on radio only he’s 1000x worse. Highly doubt the Sabres will hire anyone to replace him. Most likely we are stuck with Dunleavy for the next 15-20 years. Now that’s depressing.

Eichel and O’Reilly as teammates again. And St Louis can send us whatever castoffs we didn’t get in the last trade with them.

The only time he can do that is when he’s stuffing his face with more food.

Final record somewhere around this: 27-44-11 — 65 points I think current and future injuries will help lead to this record. I also feel like we will play a lot of teams tough, force overtime frequently but that we will lose our fair share of shootouts.

ESPN+ will carry nearly all NHL games this year, not just the ones listed today. They took over for NHL TV.

When the Sabres finish dead last in the league this year, again, I’m pretty sure every team will continue laughing at us. As it has been for years now.
