It’s so hard to believe this franchise has sunk to the levels of those teams. But they definitely have. And perhaps even worse. It’s like a bad dream that seems to never end. 10 years and counting I believe.

Adams and Krueger were very connected. It’s not shocking he sounds like RK. I think anyone that thinks KA is going to solve this franchise’s problems is in for a very rude awakening. To me, nothing will change until the entire hockey Dept is gutted and rebuilt. I think that is still a few years down the line. They are going to let KA try this rebuild. When that fails they will blow it up and start over, again, with a new GM and most likely coaching staff in another 2-3 years. Adams will get his shot here. I just don’t think he has what it takes to get the job done.

I would agree about Crosby. Obviously he’s a great and very productive player in the history of the league. But as far as his attitude and how he carries himself and the constant chirping he is not nearly in the same class as Gretzky, Lemieux etc. They were great players and also carried themselves with class on the ice.

The only emotion any of us should care about is the the Pegulas are pissed and also hopefully embarrassed. It’s the only way any meaningful change “might” happen at the top in how this organization is run. But if it hasn’t happened after 10 years of suck I don’t think this year makes any difference to the owners either.

I’d rather the Sabres season just ended now anyways. What’s left? Going 2-22-4 the rest of the way. Cause that’s what’s coming. At best. Let’s flush this season down the drain where it belongs and start over in October with a new coach and some turnover in players. KA can concentrate on the future where his attention firmly belongs and not on the present. And yes, this is all just wishful thinking, not based in reality for those that will get upset at this post.
