It’s basically them trying to stir up webpage hits and get people talking. You commented how they basically don’t say anything. I started reading insider info closer and you were damn right. I wanted ROR when we got him as much as anybody. But we did jack ***** with him. He’s gone and the sabres lead the nhl in points and the blues are a damn tire fire.

EXGMTM was brought in mainly due to his eye for the draft. Still early but his drafts are just looking mediocre. Wouldn’t it be ironic if JBotts knocked his first draft out of the park? Still very early but some encouraging signs from the later round picks.

Thanks everyone. Some I’ve met in person at the meet ups and some I’ve just spoken to on here. But I’ve been a member for more than a decade and you guys feel like family. I appreciate the thoughtful words. If you could keep me in your prayers the next litttle bit I would appreciate that.

I’ve been diagnosed with a serious health issue. Would like to keep details private but having a tough time right now. I’ve been posting less as life is taking precedence. Enjoy life and health and don’t sweat the small stuff. Hopefully with time things will improve for me. I love this corner of our internet and will still be popping in from time to time for a welcomed distraction.

Read through this brutal thread. Just pointing out that Swamp, JJ and Randall were the positive voices within. What a bizarre start to the season. Can only go up from here I guess. My thoughts: Sabres were bad. Too many blind drop passes that were clearly not working. They didn't look good on the first PP but I think this is a team that kind of lives and dies on special teams still. Going 0-2 and giving up a shorty will make it difficult for them to overcome most the year I think. Many negatives already thrown out (deservedly so) but a few small positives go to the rookies. I though Mitts had a pretty good game and with confidence and some strength should be a good one. I also thought Dahlin played well. Quiet type game but watching some replays on the outlet passes and small things he does well it is evident he should also be a very good one (this season).

My thoughts from the game: *laser seeing eye shots from both Nelson and Dahlin on their goals *Dahlin is so cool to watch. He just makes so many subtle passes and plays that are always on the tape *Thompson looked like one of the best sabres out there to me. Wins many puck battles and has a heck of a shot *Nylander played alright. Was noticeable. *mitts gave the puck away a few times and got manhandled along the boards. I don't know if he's ready quite yet to be honest. *Hutton was pretty strong despite giving up 4 goals *skinner was first star and rightfully so. He was all over the place and the skill set he has is very evident. He and Sam had some nice chemistry *overall a really fun second period and we got on the jumbotron with the kids dancing. Looking forward to the season. Go Sabres!!

That's Canadian so I guess that's like $17 American :) I think they thought there would be a huge turnout but I got an email saying if you buy a ticket now, you will get a kids for free. So they're obviously not sold out.

Your Buffalo Sabres will be visiting my hometown of Oshawa tonight! Yes I shelled out the ridiculous price of nearly $90 per ticket for an exhibition game. Due to the high prices I’m wondering what attendance will look like tonight. Last preseason game before Boston. Go Sabres!!

I've put up ridiculous numbers each week but ran into a hot team. Seriously. I'll wait until after tonight to see the Points for and I must be in the top half of the league but somehow will sit at 0-3 :(
