So are we predicting a TO fan invasion of the building as per the norm? Or will we be spared as this is the pre-season? Thoughts? -

Watched the last 9 minutes on Sports Net. Camera focused in on Krueger and announcer said "He's gonna have his work cut out for him." LOL -

Seeing as this is Toronto and all, I might actually try to watch some of this tonight. -
I think his arrival comes in his 4th year. I've said that all along. I expect constant improvement along the way and for him to continually look better and better. But he's still a child and had a lot of rough nights last year mixed in with the really impressive stuff. His consistency will keep improving.
-
He's still erratic but fans do like to focus on the positives, for sure. His overall talent level is higher than his critics thought it was, and he has definitely shown growth so far. He is a mix of good and bad, and through 2 games against 2 terrible opponents the good has outweighed the bad, which is good enough! I am desperate for us to play a good football team so we can se where he is. We'll know after Week 4 if not this Sunday.

GDT:Buffalo at Columbus. 9/17/19 7pm Streaming at Sabres.com WGR
Kruppstahl replied to Brawndo's topic in The Aud Club
I just nosed around the video section at the Sabres website and did not see anything beyond the usual highlight type videos. It doesn't look like they are making the full game video available, but maybe someone knows more. I also couldn't find the games posted at Youtube. -
Yeah, it was Adam Schein from CBS sports.

Jimmy “Dishes” Vesey - future star or the next Sheary?
Kruppstahl replied to GASabresIUFAN's topic in The Aud Club
Vesey is already what can comfortably be described as a bust. At least among those who thought he might be good. -
Dalton, for his faults, will be the best QB we have played so far this year by a wide margin. It could be a lot of fun if we go up 3-0 heading into the Patriots game. We'll see then if there's true cause for excitement or if this might be another 2008 type season. I had us at 8-8 before the season started, but with my usual +/- 2 win margin of error. Still don't have a handle on what we have here. We might know a bit more after Cincy. We will know more the week after that too.
-
So what does everyone think we have here? Any predictions on our record this year? Will we make the playoffs?
-
LOL. So we know about as much as if we flipped a coin.
-
Eric Wood has been excellent, though I still miss Kelso's analysis. I'm curious what others think about the Bills. I feel like we have played 2 very poor teams so far, but have taken care of business so that's good. I want to see us play a good team with a good QB now, so we can see what we really have. Right now, we don't know.
-
Sensible approach. I think objective fans can agree, though, that the odds of him being a hidden gem of a coach are improbable at best and probably highly unlikely. No need to discuss it now. It will unfold in front of us soon enough.
-
No. We need 2 new goalies going forward.
-
He reminds me of Afinogenov. Lots of talent to be sure, but it never amounts to anything and he has absolutely no head for playing hockey. He's a bust.
-
I generally have no interest in who wears what number. I do sort of favor the old, single digit numbers however. Wayne Gretzky was cool going with 99 at the time. Now the high number thing has been done to death.
-
Yep, in many ways, the terrorists won.
-
I'm thinking Krueger and Botterill will both be gone some time this year or at year's end, so this is unlikely to pan out.
-
My hope is that we make the playoffs. My fear is that Krueger is not just bad, but an embarrassment, and that he will do nothing to improve this team. My expectation is that we do not make the playoffs and have yet another middling season, leading to the termination of Botterill.
-
We're going to need to sign a lot more than Pomminstein if will have hopes of making the playoffs this year. I don't think I can take another full regular season where you know more or less from the start that the playoffs aren't an option.
