  1. If he pulled his groin it explains his wrist injury.
  2. That looked like the right ankle or knee was injured the way he pulled up on the play. Didn't look like Nick really did much of anything to him. Certainly doesn't look like he caught him in the hand/wrist area.
  3. Where was the defenseman that should have been between the 2 Ducks' players(Zegras/Milano)? Asplund being behind the scorer seem the right position for a forward.
  4. https://apnews.com/article/nhl-sports-toronto-toronto-maple-leafs-winnipeg-jets-d5ddec52540c9b79f91b3219834288b0 Some sympathy for Spezza. If the league was clear on punishment and handed out suspensions when needed than Spezza would not have tried for some in game justice.
  5. This is how I think in terms of a time frame. I thought it to be rational. Another rational answer.
  6. Three times in 2 games giving the opposing team a break away each time . All three of them when the Sabres are on the power play. But better goal tending would eliminate that.
  7. The odd's are he will at least be good. Many where hoping and expecting for much more. I'm not done hoping, but I will not gloss over his poor play either.
  8. They are really bad. But our defense is just as bad. Especially our defense-men. Our goalies are not pre-ordained to be special and 1st round picks. One is more acceptable to be bad than the other.
  9. It's harder to teach how to score than how to defend. We're scoring with JAGS. They are entertaining to watch. It's everything KA and TG said it would be.
  10. He knows it's his last chance. He's living his dream. May he do well and get another contract. It's a win, win.
  11. It would be his third small gaff playing on the power play giving up 3 break-aways in 2 games. No small feat for any goalie to handle, no?
  12. The biggest mistake that lead directly to a goal by Dahlin (there was a lot of breakdowns defensive by this team) is when he followed Pysyk into the corner which left his man open for an easy tap in goal. His one small gaff you reference also lead to a break away that the Dell stopped, right? His been given a huge role and he is making huge mistakes in a year that doesn't matter. I'm fine with that as long as he is learning.
  13. He's not saying goal tending is not an issue, a major issue at that, but team defense is just as horrific especially by our defensemen. He called it an easy scapegoat to blame the goalies.
  14. I hope he enjoys flying otherwise that was a crappy 24 hours for him.
  15. It's hockey talk for *free* . Future considerations could be a cup of coffee or a bag of pucks.
  16. @inkman Are you reading this the way I'm reading this? Maybe a bit of a French accent?
  17. Well, ain't that special. Throw the new guy under the bus as soon as his plane lands.
  18. How nice did you think Chicago was going to be after the Jokiharju/Nylanfder trade? This could be returning the favor.
  19. Or he is just hanging out in South Florida on a free vacation.
  20. If they decide to look at a trade there will be a long list of tire kickers, how many give good offers ? That is always suspect.
  21. I thought swimming pools did that.
  22. I remember that also. Just a young man hoping for a chance and willing to work his butt off and go where ever chasing his dream. I wish him well also.
  23. I conclude this to be a problem. Who wants a goalie that can't make up his mind?
  24. I read that as sarcasm. And he's from the U.K. , he'd be a winky.
