    This is also a year for some very cheap tickets on various web sites. So there are a lot of "other" fans in the building that normally would not be there, but go because the price is right and cheer for who ever they want to. I get to see the Blackhawks next Friday, all because the Sabres are horrible and the tickets came up and no one else wanted to go. I'm exited because the Sabres are playing one of the best teams in the league in a meaningful game for the Blawkhawks, so I expect an entertaining night. I have no Idea what to expect atmosphere wise, and think it will be a pro Blawkhawks crowd, and if it is it will be more fun than the funeral atmosphere as of late.

    Never thought that a group of Sabres fans would actually go to games wearing opposing teams clothes. Personally I have no problem with it, showing support in a different way. Could it be that one section cheered for the Devils is a section that is filled with long standing STH that have known each other for years and are at the ZFG point of fan etiquette? This also happened to be near to where the Buffalo News reporter was sitting?

    Yes and No. Yes I would like Nolan gone mid April. But my theory is no coach will take the job till they see the team come October. If they believe GMTM has a good team and the franchises is no longer in partial Tank mode , and they know they can to better than Nolan, they will come calling. Nolan will be on his last leg by December as he will be doing the same old, same old. Playing an Ellis type player more minutes than McEichel, Sam, Grigs. There will be no PC flack from fans that Nolan wasn't given a far shake with a good roster at this point. GMTM will be called upon by fans and media to do the right thing and fire Nolan. My 2 cents, for what it's worth.

    He is playing so scared! It's seems obvious to me that he knows one wrong 5 second stint and he is a bump on the bench the rest of the game. I just never imagined Nolan being the straw that broke the poorly played out hockey career of Grigerenko.

    That little goalie coach would make Vinz traded-able come the off season, but yah, I do think Irbe has been the best coach in Buffalo pro sports in a long time.
