Zucker and Benson hate to lose and they need more of that, I think Dahlin has the fire in his belly, he just gets frustrated and loses his cool or makes poor decisions.

Watching Canada play their first 3 games at the WJHC gives me a vibe of 23 kids who dream of being Canada’s next hero and social media darling. These guys seem to think their draft pedigree will win them games so they spend more time thinking about their goal celly moves than how to actually score. Their team play is terrible, they try to do it all themselves. It hasn’t clicked in that teams with a lot less talent are out working them and playing for their flag, not how many likes a dirty dangle will get. Worst culprit is future Leaf Easton Cowan. McKenna has stood out to me as the only guy who looks to set up a teammate first.

I hope this kid gets plenty more, to watch this again and again, yeah baby!

Imo I don’t see where he slots in to the lineup. They are already young and need more experienced guys like Zucker. I hope a big year in the A makes him a valuable trade chip.

Hockey has been a huge part of my life, and the Sabres have been my team since 1975. I am sorry to say I am losing my love of the game and I don’t have the energy to invest in another team. I am sad to even be typing this. Hanging on to the ledge by my fingernails. Fandom is hard as only 1 of 32 teams wins, but this has gotten out of hand. Show me that someone cares in this f*****g organization.

He would probably be better off with another year of development. I haven’t seen him this year but last season he reminded me of Jack Hughes. Hughes was brought in to the NHL because he was 1st overall. He was a weak 18 year old who got pushed around very easily.

He has never weaponized cap space. In the early days of the rebuild he did not take on contracts or act as a third party in trades that could have netted more of those “precious” draft picks. That has got to be TP not wanting to spend actual $$.

Leafs broadcast going on about how good Marner is. Yes, he’s having the best season of his career. He’s a UFA looking to cash in like his buddies Matthews and Nylander, coincidence? They forget that he disappears in the playoffs. I hope they pay him and then he flops again in the spring.
