  1. Man, Sam has been on his ass a lot but he's involved.
  2. Some good work by all lines there. Huge hit by Nolan! Too bad ROR doesn't have that extra gear.
  3. Just give us a solid EFFORT so that we see what they have and we know that they have some pride. These guys can't be that good when Dustin Brown is their top scorer.
  4. I'm disappointed but have some patience left. 10-12 games is my first checkpoint. Just find a way to win.
  5. Thanks for the recap. I've seen wounded bears but never a wounded fisherman. We'll see how they rebound tonight.
  6. Which line will Moulson be on? Put him with ROR and Okposo and go head to head with Tavares. Try to get them going.
  7. I like your third option, keep him at centre, play wing on PP and when the bench is shortened. Let's give him at least half a season in that position. Someone from Rochester may make some noise and make the leap to help his wing.
  8. Nylander may not be ready for prime time but he could be our shootout guy. Slick moves.
  9. He's lost sight of the puck a few times.
  10. Only downside is having to watch HabsTV onTSN2.
  11. Josefsson has done his job. Decent 4th liner.
  12. Agreed, I will avoid it unless it is a discussion point.
  13. Antipin can skate. McCabe and Scandella seem like the PK duo. I hope Scandella doesn't go down too much to block crease passes, takes himself out of the play. He did it twice so far, looking like Hasek flopping around.
  14. Nolan brings way more fame than D-Lo. He seems like a good PK guy and I noticed some hockey sense, as well as the grit we expected.
  15. Yeah, this is fun to watch.
  16. Go Sabres! We know what Gorges can of can't do, lessee what Tennyson brings. Matty Mo will have to wait for his ice time. This lineup sends a message.
  17. He's the guy that's been getting press for a couple of seasons now. I think he can do it because he's already played at his current level for more than a year.
  18. Thank goodness we have so much of his music that lives on.
  19. I don't have the U. Of Alberta's roster but I would imagine they have quite a few ex-CHL players there. No top flight prospects as they would be playing pro, but many junior players take advantage of scholarship money from their years in Major Junior hockey. The OHL here provides a year of paid education for every year of Junior that the guy has played. Like I said earlier, they're not developing pros but many of the players are ex-junior. Competitive teams.
  20. From the games I watched, they didn't do anything to stand out.
