It’s amazing how people were able to stay off their phones and focus on the games back then. LOL. Ads are creeping in on the uniforms, I hope they never get to the Euro level. I can’t recognize teams there, lack of actual team logos, just corporate stuff everywhere.

Comrie or should I say Calmrie. He plays well positionaly, like Giguere did for the Ducks. Dahlin has found another gear and is much better at both ends. The A has gotten him out of his shell. No JAGS means less sheltering, better matchups and not getting caved in for entire shifts. Mitts is gaining confidence, playing a 200’ game and on both special teams. Tuch is a force and he opens things up for TT. Vinnie is the ideal energy guy. Peterka is good. Imagine if Quinn, Power, Krebs and KO get scoring.

Portillo and Levi could be quite the 1A and 1B for the Sabres. UPL may be in the mix too.

Quinn Hughes may score more points but I take Dahlin all day. Especially now that he has added some push back and physical play to his game. Hughes is as physical as a pylon and blocks shots like a flamingo. Housley 2.0. Tkachuk has some intangibles to his game but Dahlin may almost match him points wise and Rasmus will play 25 minutes a night in a more important position than LW. Svechnikov can score but again, a Dman is more important to tilt the ice and will play way more important minutes. Everyone has their opinion but I still take Dahlin. If Tkachuk and Svechnikov were centres I may consider them some more.

Sure would be something to have mentioned in the same breath as Baldy Northcutt. Seriously though, I’d like to see him do it for two more games and own that record. TSN talked about the Norris trophy predictions the other night. One analyst said it was Makar’s for the next ten years. I think he will win many of them but I’m sure Dahlin will be on a ballot soon.
