Bryson is the first guy I want to see leave. I would prefer bringing in a McCabe type to replace him, maybe Johnson can do it.

Positives Dahlin is where I thought he would be next year. I was hoping for 70 points. He’s still only 22. Cozens has also exceeded my expectations. Tuch is better than I thought, plus all of the intangibles. He showed the most effort in that s**t show last night. I had Quinn with a shot at 20G, he can still get there with a hot streak. He is on the cusp of an upward move. Negatives Comrie has not been a difference maker in any games. He hasn’t had many opportunities to turn it around but I expected more. Lyubushkin has been hurt but he is not hitting or shutting anyone down. I thought he had a chance of being a 4D. Okposo has lost a step and isn’t getting any quality shots on net. He works hard and I like him but he looks done. PP. These are some of the most gifted offensive players yet they are not creative at all. They are scoring quite a bit but they don’t have a different look for when teams take away Tage. PK. Have a basic system and get some buy in. This is a real weakness. Guys could get serious minutes added on if they get good at this.

I think @pi2000was close with a left handed Jokiharju. That is an upgrade over Bryson and Clague. I think he skates very well and understands the defensive part of the game. After four years of NCAA hockey he may not need much time in the AHL before he is ready to help. I believe Buffalo is the only team that can burn a year off of his ELC so that is an option to get him to sign. His ceiling is not top pairing D so he shouldn’t break the bank on his next contract.

Stay with us man, there are better days ahead. My evening was ruined by 8:00 PM. I am still p****d but I will drag myself to watch every game until the end. There will be highlights worth watching.

Devils are ahead of the Leafs in the standings yet are losing 4-1 to the Habs. Teams have off nights. Sabres are p…..g me off doing this vs the Leafs when they could have gained ground in the WC race.

Just shows how much of a roller coaster the regular season is. The Leafs brought their A+ game in the first while the Sabres had their D game. The Leafs are not as good as they showed in the first and the Sabres aren’t as bad as their start. Extremely disappointing because of the playoff implications.

If some of these guys pan out the Sabres could literally roll out 4 lines with scoring ability. If guys like Cozens, Krebs, Kulich, Östlund and Savoie play a 200’ game and have scoring instincts that could be scary. They won’t be able to keep them all but there seems to be some keepers for sure.

Credit to KA for staying in touch with him and being patient. I don’t think his ceiling is very high but he can help this team solidify the bottom pairing and depth issues. He may even get some games this year as part of a signing agreement. He may end up as a partner for either Dahlin or Power at some point. He seems like a good skater that can play a defensive game.

I actually prefer McDonalds in the morning, not as busy as Tim’s is a bonus.

Maybe it will feel like a road game with all the Leafs fans in attendance.

I know the rink will be crawling with Leafs fans. Shut them up early and send them home with their tails between their legs. They are not a juggernaut. Let’s go Buffalo!

Wow, that is pretty good company. The more I see from him the more I want to see him play. Twitter highlights are fine but they just tease me. I want to sit and watch this guy play 60 minutes in Blue and Gold. I know we overvalue our own prospects but this guy has me excited. He may be the future in net.

It’s called Family Day in Ontario today. Many places are closed (govt.) but it’s not mandatory.

I’m not denying he is our best goalie option. He is winning games. I am just saying unless he improves his numbers, the wins will be tougher to come by. They can make the playoffs with him if they continue to score a lot. A sub .900 SV% will be tough to win with in the playoffs. Anyway, this is a Levi thread and he is my guy until we know more.

He hasn’t delivered any big hits, but those lead to injuries and being out of position. He’s looked like a solid 6 Dman to me.
