  1. I see that a lot of you guys do not have an ELITE QB like, oh I dunno, Russel Wilson. For mere pennies on the daughter (top RB or WR) the Neos are willing to part with him.
  2. Neon Nation! Also WC i used to have your avatar on a shirt a few years ago. I cut the brakes!
  3. I'll be there in like an hour with my sister, Neo's other legacy
  4. I actually need some help with this also. I just moved with my family back to the area and am having trouble finding rentals ok with pets...any help would be awesome. Thanks!
  5. agree with you totally. but I think the show is trying to like grow a trust and bond between the two, not sure but thats what it seems. Also think chuck might be dead....
  6. My favorite hands down was watching either just highlights or a game, cant remember, with my 4 year old daughter. I was explaining things to her and I knew she had no idea what I was talking about, but she kinda sensed my excitement with this team and everything. So she looked up at me and said 'I wanna play hockey on the ice, dad.' This seasons resurgance as a team has made me obviously more enthusiastic about hockey and the future of our team, and now its being shared with my kids and that really just made my season. But as far as the Sabres go....Jacks OT winner with a second left was pretty choice.
  7. https://www.nhl.com/news/connor-mcdavid-jack-eichel-comparison/c-279787684?tid=277548856 Awesome article. Some real in-depth numbers. McJesus has yet to register a slapper...
  8. Thank you for telling me this, it's been a while since I've been able to watch a game. Go Sabres!
  9. I saw an article shared on Facebook titled 'Is Rick a bad guy?' which basically goes on about what the newest mission is....given this weeks episode does anyone have any thoughts on this?
  10. My fear is 'winning' the lottery, getting Mathews, and then GMTM trading Samson for a winger.
  11. To answer the question on why these other teams didn't learn from us... I think they were going for the 'good talent needs a change of scenery' situation, which obviously hasn't panned out too well for these teams. St. Louis on the other hand, just bet it all on Miller and...well.....you know what happened. Kinda on/off topic: Our new core is going to blow this league away in a few years.
  12. As I said I'm not on this site nearly as often as I'd like, so I missed this post. Literally laughed out loud  I'll try to keep the Neo in me to a minimum.
  13. Thank you all for the warm welcome. And no, I am not by any means hoping for another tank, I just can't help thinking 'what if' That is actually the reason for the name. I'm his oldest son, he is the one who showed me this site. I am more than willing to change the name if needed though.
  14. I'm pretty (read: very very) new here, been a casual reader and have had like 3 posts for a little over a year now, so I don't know if I'm out of line to just start a new thread and whatnot seeing as I'm not one of the SS veterans here but....I must get this off my chest. I was pro-tank last year and at the end of the season I promised to never ever root against the Sabres for as long as i lived. No matter what. And here I am 9 months later hoping for another 30th place finish. It is a subconscious feeling, not by any means my own choice. I just cannot stop thinking 'hey Austin would be another awesome addition'. I tell myself to STFU and that Jack is more than enough for this team(which is true), but the thought keeps creeping back into my head every time I read game recaps or watch the highlights (military in Hawaii, no time to watch the games live) and i just cannot stop it. It leaves me feeling incredibly guilty as a diehard Sabres fan but I just can't get the thought out of my head. I also understand that a 30th place finish doesn't guarantee the number 1 pick, but you know what I'm saying. Does anyone out here have even remotely similar sentiments? I hope I'm the only one.
  15. Really wishing i wasn't living in Hawaii for Jacks rookie season. I catch all the highlights and stuff i just am never able to watch the fully games and see how he is developing due to my work schedule and my house being a zoo. Very excited about the future though!
  16. I got to eat it, actually very good. It was definately a first for me.
