  1. Sorry, soccer in this country, is not a big thing. I love the Premier League, but MLS is not a big market here.
  2. Getting all the Russian players to sign; really show the maturity and evolution of this front office group. 10 years ago, we wouldn't have even drafted one in round 7 outside of Glotov.
  3. Congrats to Sam Reinhart, for making your first finals.
  4. Looks like Eichel vs Reinhart; Stone vs Tkachuk.
  5. At a one year deal, and a realistic salary for a would be 35 to 36 year old. I think it was a fine re-signing. At least it's only for 1 year.
  6. Well he wasn't, so let's move on. Let the Maple Leafs wallow in their post Dubas misery. Shanahan is the perfect jackass for that organization.
  7. Yes, he was in our development camp in 2020-21; I want to say.
  8. Old is saying something. They look completely shot. An injury to any of their top two lines like this season would be devastating. Washington can retool and go for another cup, because they have smartly insulated with players like Strome and a few others, where they have guys in their mid to late twenties to offset Backstrom, Carlson and Ovechkin. I just see too much uncertainty. They have no prospect depth, outside of a very select few. I just don't see it.
  9. Lets get the pick and move on, this kid isn't signing with Buffalo. Moving on, good luck RyJo.
  10. Totally fine with Simashev at 13; if Reinprecht is not there.
  11. Toronto Maple Leafs news = slow sports news. Onto more important things to care about like mowing the lawn.
  12. It's nice to see that we're signing guys that will improve our long term depth! Good going.
  13. I will say that I'd rather see Sam win a cup than Jack. As petty as that is. lmao.
  14. Pittsburgh needs to start aligning post life Sidney Crosby within their realistic time frame. I love the Malkin/Crosby/Letang loyalty, but surrounding them with other degenerating assets and continuing to funnel out fungible assets is a crock.
  15. Montour did almost nothing in Buffalo, and I found his attitude highly suspect. While the right handed shot is missing in our line-up; I still feel like he didn't play to his utmost ability when we traded value for him almost 5 years ago now. To be fair, he came in with the straggling abandonment crowd with Ristolainen, Reinhart and Eichel. So there's that. I have nothing against Montour or Reinhart, but I'm much more a proponent of Joe Pavelski hoisting the cup. I like Heiskinen, Hintz, Johnston and Oettinger as well. Dallas all the way.
  16. I can never support anything to do with Carolina due to 2007. Meh. No thanks, the Hurricanes can go down with their ship.
  17. Loved this post. I honestly prefer Dallas to win. If I have to pull for anyone it's Joe Pavelski. This man is criminally underrated. His game has seasoned like a nice red wine.
  18. Not just that, but their franchise let it be known that they're not at least willing to listen on Mathews Marner Nylander and company. They're going to implode. Thank you next. Enjoy your golf Toronto.
  19. What a great feeling, to this group gelling in the fashion that they are. Keep it up!
  20. Can someone please summarize this article?
  21. Our defense and goal tending side of things definitely needs some more youth injected into it for long term stability. At this point I'm expecting Johnson to leave and get the extra pick out of it.
  22. Yeah he's putting on a show; and this is a nice asset to have. Someone they could let marinate. The actual draft/development model is working.
  23. Not familiar with that name; personally.
  24. 13th is a decent area for a bunch of talent.
