  1. Not a fan. That's all I got. This is the underwhelming return that we had to expect with GMKA at the helm. It does make the team harder to play again, but Thorny is completely right ✅️ Adams said we're saving our capital to sign our young stars. He just outted himself as a hypocrite and soft. Any real GM would have told Peterka's camp shut up you have NO LEVERAGE. This trade is proof Adams has unlimited protection. This is going to get massive outrage.
  2. I misread it, as to what "I" would do with it. Adams is making the pick, because he's the generic simpleton.
  3. Everytime you come into this point of the season, you hope your front office has an idea of how the fans feel. Where the flaws of the team are; and have some humbling after another consecutive season of nothing changing. For the fifth season in a row, we received, a lackluster hypocritical sound bite session from a guy who isn't more qualified to mop the floors. There was a laugh, a pity statement made about the fans, when in all reality, he just doesn't give a *****. I am more now sure about this fraud. TRUST THE PROCESS, will be immortalized on his grave.
  4. JUST ANSWER THE ***** QUESTION FOR ONCE. BE DEFINITIVE. I loathe Adams.
  5. Fair enough. No he's not better than Misa, Hagens or Desnoyers. I just find his engine and his away from puck play to be a glaring hole in what this team has missed outside of a few cases (Benson).
  6. I don't see that. I see his poor attitude, play style and injuries as the reason for the poor return. I loved the kid at the world juniors, and he has talent. He definitely needed a new lease on life. Briere would be a great be at mentor id think.
  7. I can see that for sure. He seems better than Boucher.
  8. I mean, highest ceiling no. Buy I love his tenaciousness. Changing the culture starts with that for me.
  9. typical goof move.
  10. If we stay at three after acquiring the pick, you draft Brady Martin.
  11. I want nothing to do with Maccelli. He does more of what we don't need which is be a passive all skill, no defensive player. We have enough of that.
  12. Yes bringing foligno back for a big body who knows the area is a HUGE yes!
  13. I agree 100% w. Perreault were. I'd be fine trading prospects ideally not named Kulich and Helenius and picks. Is Rosen/Walbach, Quinn and a second to low?
  14. I dont see the greatest fit here in terms of helping the Sabres win now in addition it's in division. It'd have to be an overpayment. Still what are the Sabres trying to get other than Cirelli. Which to me is harder for TBL to replace. I only mention in division because JJP is so young. If he's moved I'd prefer it out of conference. But at this point when youre trading guys wanting out just barely after their ELC; I guess who gives a *****. Isn't that the most damning indictment on Pegula. That a 23 year old who was drafted developed and given top line minutes has the balls to say. I want out. Pegula you've ruined the culture of this city and franchise. Where yes we were in range of a playoff spot but players feel how toxic it is here.
  15. Based on his previous coaching exposure, I'm not convinced he's that much of an upgrade.
  16. Malenstyn has been underwhelming. It's still early on that one. I personally find the Norris acquisition a complete misuse of asset management. They overpaid Greenway, though he's not completely useless. I love everything about the McLeod acquisition. Sound hockey sense, and a buy low upside on return. Personally mind boggling hitting on McLeod and being so off about Norris.
  17. Giving a player like Frederic 8 years, just proves the cap options that they have. I think he's a useable 35 point player. 18g18a type, who hits and uses his body well, but god. Finding the right players for your bottom six is important, but overpaying them through the roof, is insane. I still think the Malenstyn, Lafferty, Krebs, and sometimes Greenway group is something that needs to change. They should be using guys similar to Florida, who signs guys who need change of scenary and other offcasts who fit that role. I wasn't a fan of the Malenstyn trade, and still isn't. He seems redundant and rather pointless. I'm all for adding physicality and size. This team has been a pushover for nearly 15 years.
  18. It does still integrate young players going forward to insulate older players who lose a step. Now we need to jettison the soft roster configuration and start pushing back on the narrative.
  19. 110.00% agree. As someone else paraphrased, a team full of coasters who aren't truly willing to put their hands up. We need our own version of Ridley Greig.
  20. I only meant a player "like" Greig. We need an ***** in our line up. Sorry, Greenway is not that.
  21. Personally, I want someone like Greig back in a Peterka trade. Someone young enough to fit the group but with snarl and edge to his game. We need our own Marchand. Another rat type player I'm a fan of is L'Heureux. Not as a complete one-for-one acquisition but players with bite and edge.
