  1. I honestly think we're going to be active in waiver claims and looking to do things similar but not to the same degree as Arizona. You have to think that they will look at any and all options.
  2. With our offseason, you had to question this. The Plight for Wright is in place. We're looking to "fly" to the Wright plane.
  3. If we lose this kid, then again, this is another black mark on the franchise. Let's go on record as saying this is an important guy to get in the system as soon as he is ready to go pro. We need to stop letting young talent out of the building.
  4. Congrats Sam, I really look forward to watching the rest of your career blossom!
  5. Congrats, enjoy the AHL. Nothing more to say. We're all of a sudden we're weak on the right side.
  6. That doesn't equate to the fact that former 1st round grades doesn't mean *****. Yakupov, was a 1st overall pick, who is a complete bust, if he was in the deal, I wouldn't consider him a 7th. Valuing draft status, means zilch in the return of tangible talent. Also, we shouldn't be giving up any additional assets in the Eichel return. Unless the players in question are off the main roster that are expendable.
  7. It still doesn't take away from the fact that this offer, is a piss poor return for Jack Eichel.
  8. ***** Russo. Jack Eichel is in line for his contract. MacKinnon once he gets to his, will sign for more than $10M annually, Barkov will be getting north of 10M. Eichel is a bench mark for the average elite franchise center. If we're eating 3M, we better be getting Rossi, Boldy, Wallstedt, 2022 1st, Dumba and Khovanov.
  9. Sorry, a return of Strome whose main points totals have been at the benefit of playing with Panarin, isn't a more than a third line center. Chytil, is maybe a second line center. Schneider is so far down their depth chart of prospects, that it's not even remotely interesting. Georgiev, is on an expiring deal and there is no guarantee he will sign here long term. Lastly, a first is fine. However, this trade package is garbage. Furthermore, trading him in conference, should warrant a higher yield. To me, this is a settling for scraps mindset.
  10. **** the Rangers. I'll trade him to Calgary, any day before I accept Drury's ***** offer.
  11. The more I hear from Drury as a GM, the more, I despise the Rangers. This team can kick rocks. I personally, would have loathed him going to New York.
  12. I like that in the last two markets we haven't given out huge length of term. So I can at least see that change, which is nice. We don't need another Okposo / Skinner situation.
  13. For me it would be: Maverick Bourque, Thomas Harley, ______ (ROSTER PLYAER) 2022 1st, 2023 1st, and a cap dump?
  14. No thanks. Seguin hasn't had a healthy season in almost 3-4 seasons, is entering his 30's. Ben Bishop may never play hockey again, Ty Dellandrea isn't that great a prospect and a 1st from Dallas is in the 20's. Woof, this is TERRIBLE. If we're looking at their prospect pool, I'd rather look at Bourque, Harley, Oettinger.
  15. Good job. He's a guy I could see work well with younger centermen to work away from the puck and in the face off circle specifically. I always liked Peca's game. God we could use a glue guy like him in our current line up.
  16. I still want Kahun and Donato.
  17. Sorry, Eichel is worth more than Tkachuk and a 2nd. That trade is garbage. So is the Rangers deal. Both of those teams can kick rocks. The only decent proposal is the Ducks offer and that's still not great.
  18. Sure we can ๐Ÿ˜„
  19. I never expected him coming back. Good luck in Chicago Jake, you were a model citizen in Buffalo. I wish you the best! If he had been healthy at the deadline, he would have been dealt. Adams, even mentioned in one of his various press engagments, "Well it was disappointing that player like McCabe was hurt"...etc, meaning he would have been gone.
  20. I don't want to retain on Eichel, with the type of player he has, no thanks. If someone wants the Sabres to retain on Skinner or Okposo. Sure. But, Eichel is a franchise changing player. We should not be keeping money on the books for him. The return would have to be above and beyond what we want to keep money on the books for Eichel.
  21. Overall, I liked this presser from Kevyn. I was impressed with his stance on Eichel particularly, and if he's sticking to a plan than so be it. The goal tending is still a joke.
  22. Does Buffalo want Eichel at training camp: No. Can Buffalo be faulted if other GM's aren't willing to meet the standards needed for a true franchise center: No. Do we all want this over with: Yes.
  23. Why do we need this many defensemen. ๐Ÿ˜„
  24. Another bottom feeder. Can't we at least attempt to get some skill guys like Donato and Kahun?
