Scouts, what are those? You don't just use an internet mock draft?
-
Eugene Melnyk, has officially lost his mind. Good to not hear Pierre anymore!

Who do you want the Sabres to draft 1st overall in 2021?
Rasmus_ replied to LGR4GM's topic in The Aud Club
I want Eklund #1 overall and any of Guenther, Beniers, Power, Hughes, Edvinsson, in a top 5 pick. -
Being in conference, much like Boston, or the Rags, they will have to pay a higher premium. Trading him to Minnesota, Los Angeles, Anaheim, Las Vegas, Calgary, makes so much more sense.
-
Nah. They're the worst suggested trade partner.

David Pagnotta: Sabres Exploring Trading Okposo to Seattle
Rasmus_ replied to WildCard's topic in The Aud Club
I'm honestly fine keeping Okposo, if we can deal Skinner somehow, then I'd look at those scenarios. That's the big cap hit I'd move that has a long term b/s impact. -
He's frustrated, we're frustrated, the management group is frustrated, makes for an unenviable task. Just move on, and lets start building. Unlike last time we at least have 7-8 potential pieces.

It's Jack being Jack, answering a home town reporter. I think we can cut, Jack some slack in saying, the obvious answer is of course, at some point I'd love to play for my home town team. To the "now or later", it's just time to move on for all parties. Get the absolute most you can for him. This *****, isn't going to get better. Yes, waiting for the best return is important, but there's always the theory of thought about waiting TOO LONG.
-
There is no chance that he's ending up in Boston. Unless they rip their team down the middle. McAvoy, Swayman, Lauko, 4 firsts? There is no chance we're trading him to the Bruins.
-
I'd rather start next season with Dahlin, McCabe and Samuelsson on our left side. If McCabe doesn't come back, then I'd look at other options. Yandle seems like a big market guy, or taking a lesser cap hit to go to somewhere like Tampa Bay etc.
-
Move him. That's all.
-
Pick him first overall. Trade Eichel to Anaheim for #3, and see who is left of Power, Guenther, Edvinsson, etc.
-
Even if Hall wanted to come back here, why bother. He played with the conviction of a coward. He's done here for me. I'd rather bring Staal back, and I don't want that either.
-
Get rid of Skinner regardless if possible 😄
-
My thoughts exactly, they also demoted Nightengale, who was in charge of amateur scouting last year. So, things are "trending up".
-
We passed on this for Jack Quinn. 🙄 I'm okay with acquiring him as the center of an Eichel trade, with Khustnutdinov would be huge prospect additions. Aside from other pieces.

Official Sam Ventura Hired as VP of Hockey Strategy and Research
Rasmus_ replied to Brawndo's topic in The Aud Club
Well, considering, I never thought this would be coming, it's a step in the right direction. Analytics was promised when Kevyn Adams was brought on board. The more experience that is brought in, the more I start to gain hope. *Fingers Crossed* -
Puke. Not really a great fit at all. Plus why are we trading him in conference for a lesser bid than what the Rags can offer. No thanks. Without Wahlstrom this is an EASY no.
-
Minnesota, Chicago, Las Vegas, Anaheim, Los Angeles. Definitely, get this done for one of these trade partners. The Rangers seem to be penny pinching. They can take a swift kick in the nuts.

What if the Kane Bogosian + for Myers Stafford + Trade DIDN'T Happen?
Rasmus_ replied to Taro T's topic in The Aud Club
This the McNabb trade and Lehner trades were far worse. -
I like that Granato, gives a crap what the fans think and care about. He admitted to the pressure under the current circumstance and his players will come in and thrive under this pressure. So, I am all in on Granato. The puppet, muppet, gave his schtick. Kevyn Adams, infuriates me.

Why would he leave Montreal to do that? That seems like a lesser destination. Unless he's feeling the chances of him taking the job are greater than 50%, which who knows with this team and our ownership group.
