I'd do it, with a 2022 1st included instead of Gallagher. We can take on an expiring contract to cover $$. They won't want to give up their recently extended captain.

Boudreau with Granato as assistant HC. That's my dream.
-
He's a physically elite player. That's literally what I meant 😄 He would provide the Sabres with something similar to Tuch who everyone loves, because he's a local boy. That being said, I want Zegras, Turcotte, Byfield over Zary or any Flames package.
-
This wouldn't happen, but I wonder if Eriksson plus something like Beagle could swap for Skinner. Two expiring contracts who are terrible, for one long term possible re-energized move. Plus, Benning was supposedly interested in him prior to him re-signing in Buffalo.

Beniers v Power, would have a lot dependent on the Eichel, Reinhart, Ristolainen and overall jettison of this roster. Would it not be safe to assume. If Eichel acquires a center prospect of the ilk that are (Zegras, Byfield, Turcotte, Zary or so on) would it not be more advantageous to draft Power in that case. That being said, this draft is so wide open, prospects like Guenther, Edvinsson, Eklund will have to be considered. If a second pick is acquired then you can spread things out more openly.

I agree, and I only went off the conjecture of the Athletic article. Stating that it was the best of the few offered. Overall, I would say the Flames would be a second tier destination of preference.
-
Zary, is a high end center prospect. So you get that to add into the mix. You add a physical elite player under 25. Their 1st will be near the top 10.

I find this a terrible return outside of Krebs. Tuch, is a fine forward, but at the same time this is very shallow. How much longer will Fleury be elite. He is 37 years old. I understand how solid he's been over his career, but this is a #1 center, and will easily be the best forward on their roster. Yes, even over Mark Stone. The first is basically a 2nd, and the 2nd is a third. Meh. This is a crap return.

I'm sadly not really much of a football fan. I love Hockey, Baseball, and Premier League Football. The closest would be Zary, Tkachuk and 1st. I wouldn't be opposed, but, the market will drive up the price. This is an ELITE player.

I hate the Pegulas. That's it.

Jack Quinn having Season Ending Surgery for a LBI
Rasmus_ replied to Brawndo's topic in The Aud Club
Cough, I like him more than Quinn. -
O'Reilly: a 1st, a 2nd, a good prospect and two run-of-the-mill NHLers - just want to verify this, and should be claimed as a mediocre prospect.

Time to change the mix in this room in such a big way.
-
I'd rather get a Turcotte style, two way player. Byfield has more boom and bust in his game, but I can understand the preference.

Turcotte, Kaliyev, Grans, Chromiak, 1st, 2nd.

Will Jack's Role On This Team Be Different Next Year?

He's a number one center on any team other than: Edmonton, Pittsburgh, Boston, Florida, Colorado, Winnipeg, Vancouver. -
NY Rangers announce Chris Drury as President and GM
Rasmus_ replied to Brawndo's topic in The Aud Club
Exactly it makes zero sense, because he didn't sign here because he was offered more money elsewhere. Not our problem. He's a hell of a player. I loved him as a Sabre. -
NY Rangers announce Chris Drury as President and GM

Adams has no pedigree and no experience in a front office role, unless you want to be run by someone who ran the Junior Sabres. -
I like the Kings organization, but this was straight class.

Go Sabres. Go UPL! So true!

I liked the Basham pick a little more than Rousseau, because he has tenacity and uses his hands very well. He's also get a healthy motor.
-
I completely agree with everything you said. Just going off the regular requirements for a lock! I love MillerTime30.

Congratulations on one hell of a career. The only thing he didn't win was a Stanley Cup. His 2009-10 season is the best since Hasek in his prime. Funnily enough, he finished with one more win than Hasek for 14th all time. He's a US Hockey Hall Of Famer for sure. He might be on the border of the Hockey Hall of Fame.
