We'll take Bickell if you're shipping us Ville Pokka. He'd be a nice guy to replace Zadorov in our system. He had a great first year in the AHL.

I honestly cannot fault their GM. He's rebuilding that porous team. They're a joke. Kassian had a horrible work ethic and supposedly was too eager to voice his opinion on things. Half their defense group is 30+, Kesler insisted on a trade where he couldn't get what he would have. Benning has done a really good job, as has Dejardins. They're expecting more than what they should, with the state of that team. Burrows, Bieksa and other issues there.

Anisimov though I'm not a fan will be a huge hole to fill. They have Wennberg up, but he's going to still be a season or two more away from being a complete second/third line player. Dano had 21 points in 30 games, and was just starting to blossom into a quality C/LW. Saad was a great trade for them, but they gave up a lot of value.

I love Brodziak at that cost. Great addition to any team for under a mil. For faceoff's alone. He's a much better player than McCormick is. How did that bum get 3 years of term.

It's all good, I'm just excited to get it done!

Any news on O'Reilly extension?
-
There is 0 chance Ehrhoff is coming back. That makes about as much sense as calling Miro Satan to have him tryout in the top 6.
-
Stewart on a lower term 2 year deal!
-
They added Hamilton, Kylingon and Andersson. They added young quality depth. They still have Russell to resign as well. As with you that kind of investment makes 0 sense.
-
They still need defensemen. Oshie improves their two way play for sure, but I still think they need a defensemen or two.
-
He supposedly asked for 9M. I love Giordano, but god for 9M at 31, that's just gross. It's one thing with a 23-24 year old PK Subban. But, Giordano has an injury history and while he is as important to their future success in the near future as Sean Monahan, his cap hit will limit their ability to resign Monahan, Gaudreau, Bennett, and possibly guys like Bouma resigned.

Such a better fit than another year of Emery and his b/s.
-
Honestly it was his only realistic option. I mean yeah he could have gone back to school, but there's the ability to live out your dream and get paid to do it right there in your reach.

Rumor regarding Sale of Coyotes for Move to Vegas
Rasmus_ replied to dejeanneret's topic in The Aud Club
Arizona has been a joke of a market for a long time. Albeit for their Mike Smith standing on his head tour to the WCF, they've been a tire fire the entire time otherwise. -
No information in here on the Saad trade :P

Hayes will be resigned as I believe I read previously he's in contract negotiations. I love Frolik, but I can see him signing with a contender.
-
So happy he made it in. He played a long time and for too many teams, but he was a really good player. His points, and cup win were enough to finally get him in. I compare him to a Fred McGriff of MLB (who hasn't made it yet).
-
Yes! He's been terrible since he came in with Carolina. He's replaceable. Which looks like Rodrigues and the RIT college signings do for that.
-
No thanks. I heard Pillsbury is looking for a mascot. Kessel could definitely apply for that. Kessel does not need to be a Buffalo sweater. I will pass on his passive aggressive aloof attitude and piss poor defensive tendencies!

Kessel and Phaunef for Reinhart, Hodgson and Gionta?
Rasmus_ replied to Tolstoy's topic in The Aud Club
Or an extremely valuable #1 defensemen. On another site there were names like Seth Jones thrown out there. I'd rather keep Sam. As he "WILL", be fine. -
Cannot wait to listen to this! Thanks.

The man wants to be paid, and should someone really be upset that he had the opportunity in 2013 to sign an offer sheet while a terrible GM was still in office in Jay Feaster. It really has stemmed back from this. He puts his game full court and led the team in take away's last year. He draws well, he skates well, he's a team guy and I've loved him since he came in. He will be locked up, otherwise Tim Murray looks like a buffoon. We all know that he'll pay the "brass tax", to get what he wants done. He's our Bergeron potentially at the ripe age of 24.

LOL! NO! There is no reason you give that team any breathe. Phaneuf is a good player, but that contract is completely attrocious. You're telling me you want to add 15.25M on the cap while we have RFA's of Mark Pysyk, Johan Larsson, and a few others. O'Reilly is not signed. Next season: Lehner, Ristolainen, Girgensons and a few others are again RFA's. This makes literally 0 sense.
