I don't know what's harder to believe Lehner who was terrible last year causing a 1st round pick, or taking on Legwand included in this makes any sense. Until it's league reported, or TSNMcKenzie etc I'm saying, Hufflepuff (barring repeated expletives). This isn't supposed to be Tim bending over and saying ah for Brian.

I wanted Robin Lehner, but really #21? You really couldn't stretch this to 31 at the worst. I know Bob Murray is your uncle, but this is as far from shrewd as we know. Lehner does have the upside of being the youngest goalie on the market and has more time between the pipes than Jones and Talbot. I just find it hard to swallow. I fully expect Legwand to be bought out.

Normally I agree. To me it all depends on where Samsonov falls. His build and play has the upside of Vasilevskiy. I just think sometimes when you are looking for the next true #1 goalie, you have to take a chance on someone. Vasilevskiy went late in the 1st round in 2012 and was pushing Bishop for the starter job. If you're not going Samsonov, then you can wait.
