  1. That, and Kim is actually a co-owner of the Bills. I guess she set herself up with a "top level" job.
  2. Awesome. Glad to see he's really making a mark.
  3. Not shocking. We had his rights for 1.5 months and he didn't take one step into Buffalo. It was all about the big city. No Cup. Not money. Not winning. Not teammates. He just flushed his career. Good for him.
  4. I feel bad for his agent. Lots of work, but relatively little compensation.
  5. So, we're talking their restaurants and museums are open all night? Concerts at 3am? This is what you can't find anywhere else? Sounds like a selling point to me. Color me enlightened.
  6. What type of culture? Different races? Food? Concerts? Art museums? What? If we're talking a "feel" or "vibe", then I agree. Cities like LA, Chicago, DC have a different feel to them you could never find anywhere else.
  7. I live in DC, so am a passive observer in this. But, you have my interest. What exactly can you find in NYC you can't find anywhere else? Are we talking people, architecture, climate, food, geography, drugs, healthcare, beer, fetishes, flights? Just point me in a general direction.
  8. You'll get one when you're drafted. Have patience. See. I can do that too. The point is is that he's going to settle up and play. He's shown an incredibly inability to do so.
  9. Not to signing and heading to FA is a non-decision. He didn't have to make one decision to land where he is today. He landed where he is by default.
  10. This kid (and I really mean kid) couldn't make a decision if his life depended on it. Most people on here would've said "let's make the best of this decision" and signed with Nashville years ago. Or, "let's roll" and signed with Buffalo. Him putting off a decision is an indictment of his inability to make a decision. I'd be shocked if he signs before the 20th.
  11. The 2nd to last paragraph is a strawman argument. A reasonable alternative (but of course not mentioned) is to have the player re-enter the draft after his college career has finished.
  12. This is great news. Maybe the firesale will kick into high gear.
  13. It'll need more than just being locked. Completely deleted would be a better option. Like this nightmare never even happened.
  14. You got to love how he's making it sound like Vesey's experiencing some undue burden. That he can't wait for this nightmare to end. That said, I wonder if TT's extension will have any bearing on his decision. Different sport and GM, but one owner who was willing to open the vault for a player when he didn't have to.
  15. My money is on Chicago. Signing with a non-NE team will bolster his pattern of lying.
  16. But you just said "Sexual assault charges have nothing to do with anything here." What did you mean by that?
  17. Ok, let's just make this clear. Are you saying that EK's current charges of "harassment" have nothing to do with any perceived sexual assault in the past or present? He never laid a hand on a woman with the intent of it leading to undesired sexual advances? I don't want to conflate things.
  18. Ok, I'll try to say if a different way. Jimmy asks a team "do you envision me being in the top-6?" The team replies "Anything is possible, but no, we don't envision you in the top-6". Jimmy then has a choice to (a) walk away or (b) sign with the team anyway. Based on that information, if chooses he chooses to walk away, because he said he desires to be in the top-6, then it was imperative that he be viewed as a top 6 player. It was a requirement. Since Jimmy is the only one making the decision here and he had to be viewed as a top-6 player to make this decision, you can say it was a demand that had to be met. In effect, any little whim he desires can be thought of as a demand because if he doesn't get it, he won't sign.
  19. Google "Boston Globe Vesey". First link: https://www.bostonglobe.com/sports/bruins/2016/07/02/jimmy-vesey-mulling-his-nhl-future/d0xIzgGvkAJD4kBOoI4dgK/story.html I guess Smell wasn't lying when he posted that quote. Do you think that's a legitimate question though? Do you think a prospective is going to say "no"? Since he specifically brought it up in an interview, it would seem like Jimmy would want more of a real answer rather philosophical musings of a GM.
