I think we are scary think at defense and we really don’t have anyone in the pipeline. I’m not going to count on Johnson. I don’t think the draft is an option as they take too long to develop. I look at Savoie, who I think has a higher offensive ceiling than Krebs or Quinn, and I ask where are we gonna fit him in? I agree, Oloffson can be replaced. Probably Girgs and KO eventually too, but I want them replaced with the same style of player. For better or worse, Skinner is going to be on the active roster until his contract is up. He’s unmovable and we’re not going to pay him that kind of money to sit in press box. Hate to say it, but what happens if Dahlin goes down? If I am going to move Quinn or Krebs, which I won’t be looking to do, it will be for a Chychrun level defenseman or I’ll get off the phone.

It’s not tossing his out. It’s using quality to acquire quality. I have no doubt Quinn will be a very good NHL player. But we have a glut of players like that. I would demand a commensurate return for him.

I would listen to trades involving Quinn or Krebs for the right Dman. I know people may not like this, but I don’t see them breaking into this lineup. They are spare parts being wasted right now. Either that, or sent back down to Rochester. I can’t see any justification for Hinestroza sitting again.

Yep, synovial fluid will basically be blood with an ACL tear. But, this isn’t diagnostic in any way, so don’t think they would run the risk of possibly introducing an infectious agent. Synovial fluid would be collected in the confusing cases. Kid comes in with fever and big swollen knee, since being hit in a football game a week ago. Could be trauma. Could be a septic knee. Need imaging to make this.

The beauty of this current team make up is that we can well afford to send Quinn back down to Rochester and he won’t be replaced by a JAG. In most previous years, these players would stay in Buffalo and struggle.

I don’t think he knows where he wants to sign. I think he just knows he wants to have a choice. He seems like a guy grounded in practicalities and sound decision-making. None of us would go work for a company without first considering the alternatives. Maybe he just wants to visit the teams, get to know them, and then make a choice.

Anderson’s play was spectacular against Ottawa. I don’t see why it should be too tough for him to take on the Flames. They should try to stick with 2 on for Comrie followed by 1 for Anderson. That would give Anderson 27 games and 55 for Comrie.

The best route should have been to expose Ulmark and protected Toker. They would’ve took Ulmark. We must’ve really thought we were going to sign him. In hindsight, we should’ve told him to sign or we’ll expose him. KA was too inexperienced back then.
