I really don’t understand why autoimmune disorders would be of anyone’s concerns about on ice performance. So his hair falls out? So his skin has issues? So his etc. has issues? Any self respecting human being with autoimmune issues would punch you right in the nose for doubting their abilities. I appreciate your insight, man. For me, you’re a go to name for info. I just don’t see this as an issue at all. The very wise Gordon Downey once said “...piss on all of your background....”

Montreal was the closest city when I was a kid. Everyone was a Habs fans but I despised those hosers. I’m a little pleased to see them suffer a bit. I’m going to get a Domi tee shirt to wear next time I’m up North.

I stopped taking the author seriously after the “bottom...for a plethora of seasons” and the “city of losing” comments.

Uhhmmmm. How bout saluting a NK general at your big shindig?

There was never enough booze or weed to make me want to listen to either. LSD on the other hand.... I vividly remember a smelly dreadlocked girl twirling light sticks while Sknyard was coaxing the dancing baby on the impromptu silver tarp screen. I told her to find me later and she did. Giggidy. Tripping sex. Wonderful drug BTW. Might have to do it once more before I expire.... Anyone ever been to the Honeoye Hootananny?

To be truthful, they really messed with those guys by doing Rosanna first. I think it’s great. Always liked Weezer. Both songs are on my playlist for awhile.

I rarely vote in SS. This one was compelling. After all this hockey, he’d better have more in the tank(from the tank) than Campbell-esque. GD it! Jez sayin.

I loved how he looked past the barriers of culture to find the common ground in humanity. Food. No matter how alien it felt to watch, he ate and lived in the moment. Not bizarre food guy style. Not to get rise. Sincerely loving the experience and the people was experiencing with. I feel terrible for the daughter. My good friend killed himself with a shotgun at a traffic stop after a domestic incident a few years ago. He had six children that are left with so much baggage. It was a very selfish thing to do. I’ve been having a hard time forgiving him as I suspect his children are. Another hung himsef in a closet. It took two weeks for a family member to finally find him. He left a developmental challenged adult son behind. I forgave the third friend for his hanging after he learned of his terminal illness. Funny thing is, the darkness gets ahold of me from time to time and I can certainly understand why those decisions get made. I’ve personally never been able to get past the guilt of what I’d be doing to others. The plan to conceal what I’d done would be so complicated and involved that I’d be be back on the upswing before I could carry it out. That’s how mental illness works I guess. I hope. If any of you guys are having these experiences, it’s OK. It’s temporary so reach out until you feel better. If you don’t want to reach out to family/friend, then reach out to a hotline. Too many people are being lost because of the stigma. It’s OK to tell someone.

I’d seen clips of this man’s encounter before but never the entire saga. The turtle chapter was fun. The best part was the self defeated head shake at the end, before he mustered the courage to get up and flee, the cops. It’s obvious the worker was on the phone with them. This doesn’t make him a bad person atoll. This IS awesome. I’ve been in very similar shoes once or twice. This exactly how I ended up camped out in the forbidden dunes at the beach. Not my fault atoll.

I don’t mind a VM. It doesn’t feel like the sort of thing that needs acknowledgement. My phone transcribes as best as it can so I can get a rough idea what was needed. I can then respond with a call back or text. Whichever involves the least overall effort. I end up with so many numbers on a site that unless they’re important, I don’t bother with contact info. I VM screen calls. If you don’t leave one then too bad for you. If on the rare occasion it’s a personal contact, I agree with Ink. That shits annoying.

Little Bear may be the cutest thing you’ve seen in forever. It was a big chipmunk and LB is a little cat with big attitude. That thing was rabbit kicking the hell out of her.
-
Little Bear caught a chipmunk in the berry garden and brought it inside. I think it was a little too much for her to handle so she let it go....inside. Just caught the little bugger and took him back outside.

He told told the local news that there was so much poop that not only did his grandkids need to say inside, but the dogs as well. I wonder how the paid help manages to keep that place so meticulously groomed with all the mountains of do do? Tom’s spread on the lake is gorgeous. I took a random boat ride with Doug Emblidge from 13wham and his wife Colleen a couple summers ago. We stopped for a beer and some snacks in front of Tom’s place. I didn’t see a single goose. Or any turds either.

He’s been tested for every medical reason imaginable. I’ve been trying to convince Mrs. iT that he needs to be on Prozac but she thinks he will just stop doing it. Only happens on two pieces of furniture that are old anyway. I have her coming around to the idea of meds with the warning that when I replace the furniture it will need to be covered with grandma’s plastic covers. She REALLY hates that idea. I know. Get rid of the cat. I would be right out the door with him if I tried it. You make sacrifices when you’re married, eh? He’s getting old so there’s only a few more years of this nonsense anyway.

You are describing my property. You either plant so much the deer can’t eat it all or build a six foot high fence. I chose the later. I spent the $. Dug the holes. Drove the nails....... I solved the problem. I didn’t ask the taxpayers to do it for me...and I’m not even a billionaire.
-
This is exactly why I think the guy is being a big turd. Tom’s property on the lake is pretty nice. Always well kept. If he doesn’t want goose on his lawn then he has more than enough money to make that happen. Don’t bitch about how the town has let you down. Spend some of that money and take care of it yourself. JFC.

I had to get a pick and shovel to find this ting. At the intersection of Rte 5n20 and 64 is a little place called Irish Mafia Brewery. If you frequent Bristol Mtn from the city you go right by the place. They don’t brew on site. They’re associated with another local brewing company and brew there. I’m familiar with the owner but not enough to ask a bunch of questions. Their brew is good. Their atmosphere is even better. Come in. Have a drink. Watch a game. Are you hungry? I have a 5n20 burger every time. It’s a black n blue burger but it dressed for success. Large lower bun with the shredded lettuce/onion on the bottom, under the burger that wears those slices of bacon like a prince wearing a crown, stuffed full of fresh melted blue cheese. My side? Tater tots. Golden fried to crispy wonderfulness. Deep fried. Deeeeep fried. I started with the Irish onion soup. That dose of stout in the soup gives the deep flavor of onion soup a richer approach. For the middle of nowhere, five minutes from my house, I’m enamored with this place. Scampered home with a growler of Mighty Ego.

My bus delivered us wherever we wanted to get off. Up North 30 yrs ago was an unforgiving time to be a bad kid in the bus. I remember the bus driver pulling over on a gravel road in the upper most parts of the Adirondack Park(think Skerry, NY) and telling Wayne Busch, “get your fat ass off my bus”. BOOM. We left him there. All alone. No one said a word after that. Yeh like that was more like 35+ yrs ago... https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Skerry,_New_York Sigh. The good old Deer River state forest. I’ve never been as happy as I was as a boy with these places as my playground. If you read that whole thing.....I’m actually from West Bangor...not Malone....

My insurance broker is awesome. He is tireless and dedicated. He has my blessing to change whatever is necessary to find the best deal. I noticed my yearly auto policy went up a hundred bucks but I trust the guy and I had an opportunity to test my purchase. I backed into another truck in a crowded parking lot causing only very minor damage. The claims were filed and I learned what kind of policy this dude had found me.... $100 deductible, $1 million in covered damage, $50/day rental. No rate increase for the incident. The insurer even set up everything for me. The rental place is treating me like a high roller. I’m guessing they’ll be confused and/or disappointed when I show up tomorrow.

I’ve read a similar article. I have no doubt it will be good. It’s not like it’s a group of drug addled hosers. Lateralus and 10,000 Days were both epic IMO. No doubts about their new endeavor. Can’t wait.

My cat Hobey pissed on my loveseat this morning right in front of me! I was friggin livid. I immediately launched an ass-seeking missile(my foot) and barely missed. That rat bastard is lucky I didn’t have time to hunt him down. I was late getting out the door after cleaning his mess.

Meh. You’re looking at it from inside of the box. Crawl on out and look at it where the rest of us “eccentrics” are and give it another look.
