He has limited time to improve the terms of his contract. A few nice dishes here and there. What else is he bringing night after night? Not trying to be argumentative. From what I’ve seen (all on the tv) he’s working to satisfy the current contract.

So the Amerks travel for another matchup vs Hersey. This time it’s a 4-1 win with Wilcox in net. Goals - Porter(1) Redmond(2) and D. Smith(1). Assists - Borgen(1), Simpson(1), CJ(1), Cornel(1) and Pilut(1). Cornel has been good this year after a very meh last season. Dalton Smith is my biggest surprise this year. Dude is crushing everyone he checks and putting up some points.

Also...it seemed to be weirdo night. My wife and I joke about a portal that opens in the BCA occasionally and let’s in all sorts of bizarre peeps, just sucks em right in. Maybe the portal is real? Maybe it was just the free Zweigles? Maybe we’ll never know?

They really played a good game. Except Wedgie. He sucked big time. I was afraid of goaltending coming into the season. They should play Wilcox a bit more. He played well last year when Ullmark was injured.

I like how Samsonov tipped over to knock the net off after he’d realized it may have gone in.

I didn’t realize Inky jr went to so many games. Just wait until you’re buying beers for 2!! Bailey is unbelievably fast but I have never seen a man his size so easily overpowered so frequently. He’s almost a waste of a roster spot.

Ordinarily I’d disagree about watching at home but I’m completely surrounded by douche bags tonight. And never pay to park man. Always free spots on Irving and Fitzpatrick.

I was stopped by a lady while walking into the grocery store with a mountain of plastic bags to recycle. She asked if I was going to recycle them. Yep. Then she asked if she could have them. Sure. Have fun with your 500 new plastic bags.

A lady sitting in the lower bowl by my section had her face split open when Bailey dumped the puck over the glass to take a delay of game penalty. He really had a rough night after a pretty good showing last night.

3-2 win. CJ with a shortie. The refs did their best to tilt the ice toward Laval but...FU. Amerks win. Dalton Smith kicked a Rockets ass and got an assist. Awesome third period.

Dalton Smith played a great game. I’ve never seen him have such and impact as he did last night. I really wouldn’t label him a goon though. Just because you finish everyone of your hits doesn’t make you a goon. He played the hockey well too. Overall this Amerks team is good. Only two losses were to the Checkers who are like 7-1.

I watch the first...notice I don’t have my glasses... put em on and see Domi score...see little fight so I sit out the second in the hot tub...I watch the third...notice the glasses again and...mother funkin Domi from the same mother funkin spot...

I’m glad there’s at least one (some what) positive voice for Matt. Before you posted this I was going to share my disappointment that such an intelligent collective would be so quick to disparage a guy that did exactly what we want the kids to do... and the fact that we have him doing that daily...why would we look down on this guy?

You do realize that I’m speaking about the three games that I’ve seen live. He did the same thing in 5v5 in all three...diddly.

They let the Marlies score with 10 sec left to tie it at 4-4. I thought for sure the Marlies were going to score in that OT a couple of times. Glad to see the strong SO performance. Even more glad they won. Olofson has a blistering shot and I can see him as a PP specialist, but I saw a lot of meh from him 5v5.

Two weeks until the colonoscopy that was ordered by the surgeon that corrected my Labor Day surprise. I’ve had issues that I’ve been hiding from my wife since before my mother passed. Kicking the can down the road. I’m not going to worry too much. Life’s short whether your 46 or 86...or 106.

Sometimes when you find yourself on a plane of particular enlightenment, living a daily life surrounded, like Shaun of the Dead, by pumpkin heads, you bring your cantankerous rebellion back to those you love.... At least that’s what happens to me.
