    That Big Mouth looks awesome. Have you ever used one? I would worry about that lid but if I stick to buckets for secondary this would be the ideal primary. It's going on my xmas list. Thanks man.

    Yes he's been injured since the start of the season. He's been on the roster as a scratch every night so I thought he'd end up here when I heard he was getting close. one night he wasn't on the scratch list and I noticed he wasn't even on the roster. He must have been out of shape or something because this stint in Elmira seems to be long. Multiple games now(at least in Roch). Seems to be outplaying the E. Let's get him to the A so we can assess if he's good enough for the N...

    Karabacek scored the final two goals for the Jackals tonight in a third period in which they got on the scoreboard 5 times. That's in addition to his two assists. Time to get him to Rochester.

    Jack's so GD good that the Amerks are even starting to win again.

    Amerks win 3-2 over theMarlies. Baptiste with a nice one and a secondary assist for Nylander. Speaking of Nylander, that kid has great vision/speed but good Lord does he get tossed around, losing the puck in the process. That boy needs to be on an all cheeseburger diet.

    Anyone have a batch that wasn't bubbling through the airlock? I brewed Tuesday and by this morning there were still no bubbles. I cracked the lid to take a peak and there was a healthy amount of krausen so I popped it back on. An hour later the airlock was bubbling like mad. I triple check all seals when I close up the wort but I guess I still missed something. Thinking about switching to carboys over buckets just so I can see what's going on.

    Mrs iT is really pissing me off tonight. Got up at 3:30 to catch a early bird flight to NY for a meeting/lunch to leave that at 2:00 to catch a flight back to Rochester. I hate flying especially twice in one day so I prepared a little crockpot treat for my return. I'm not ready to eat(symptom of flying) so she helps herself. Fine. Now I look over and the GD cat(her beast) is on the counter chowing friggin down!!! For real!!! Put the GD lid back on it!!! Frig. And she's watching that damn tree lighting a few blocks away from where I friggin was all day but had to leave due to organizational frugalness. Of friggin farts.

    Today was brew day. Black IPA. I hope it's as good as the last batch. When this racks to secondary I'd like to try a Pils. Not my favorite style but I've been developing a taste for it lately.
