I hope Nylander has a huge offseason and packs on 25 lbs and learns how to use it. More likely he spends 17-18 in Roch and that's not a bad thing. We need to be patient with some of the younger players.

Somehow they were outshot again tonight.....Is this the organization's system? I've been hearing about this homogenous system. Why does it result in losses at every level?

We are nearing the point where Darcy's influence is fading. I can't begin to imagine how he made his decisions, but I'm glad he's no longer making them. Not so much a failure at drafting but a failure at an overall vision.

I don't know as though anyone is doubting his ability. He's better than his brother was in the A already. I think most folks are realizing he is a few years out yet. He looks like a kid. Let him pop his cherry first and then in a year or two he'll be ready to go.

He's getting peppered with shots every game. He's been doing a good job keeping them in games but he does have a D'oh! moment every now and then. I'm sure he's frustrated with the lack of help from the D.

Not entirely sure what you meant by this? Let it go where? Keep playing hockey the best you can IMO. No more tanking.

This made me laugh hard enough to get a corner of the eye look from my wife.

I use super glue. A few dabs to close it and a once over to seal. Maybe I take DIY too far at times.
