If Tyrod Taylor was even mediocre today the Browns win by two possessions.
-
Fun fact: he was garbage today
-
The team they’re playing today has a better safety duo

Jalen Ramsey thinks he could play in the NHL with 6 months training

There is no racism. Just happy people who share the same goes, experiences and love as others. -
I’m more interesting in the number of overall flags being thrown. That “roughing the passer?” That was garbage.

I think the new one is clear and good. Everyone constantly got pissed that the tiny movement going of the ball and “going to the ground” were parts of the rule. They no longer are. That Hooper play was and should be a catch. He caught it with both hands, secured it then as he was sliding/moving on the ground the ball moved slightly in his arm. Seems... simple?

And Ramsey will continue being great at what he does.
-
And this is why Ramsey has won. People know him. Whether or not they did before doesn’t matter.

They’re auctioning the jerseys off with proceeds going to the blind community in Baltimore which is the largest in the country.

I think he’ll be useful but “useful” won’t justify the AAV at that time. They’re banking on him justifying it with a cup sooner, though.
-
It’s a Jimmy Eat World reference (on both).

35 would be the midpoint if that contract at which point you just agreed he would be a useful player before saying you don’t think he’ll be a useful player.

The Mittel and Sweedness.

Maybe I’ll play. I’ve never actually been in one but one of my friends has me do his picks for his Work league. Two years ago I won for him and last year I got him out in week 3 lol

Interesting note I found when looking at Wheeler’s stats: between 2010 and now he’s one of four players with 200 primary assists. The other four are Getzlaf, Kane and Crosby (in that order). Wheeler is fourth. Nicklas Backstrom is far and away the leader in secondary assists with 181 in that time. Giroux, Henrik Sedin, Duncan Keith and Erik Karlsson are next. Crosby is sixth which shows you how involved he is on every play.

I wish I could envision a scenario where he landed here on a long-term deal. I was in the front of the line saying he was a product of what was around him in Chicago but man was that wrong.

Kyle Connor and Mark Schiefele were the most common combo with 48.6% of his ES minutes. No other combo was more than 9.3%. 68.7% of ES minutes came with some combo of Connor, Schiefele, Ehlers and Bryan Little. Those are good players but hardly the elite type of players that would take away from that stat. Only 16.8% of time with Laine. This response very rarely works because of course the league leaders are playing with good players.

Blake Wheeler has been underrated for years. Last year was higher than even I have ever expected from him but he’s damn good. Among the 15 best in the league. That’s a risky deal but they got a lower term on it so that helps. It will pay him until he’s 37 which is pretty old. He’s a good leader and highly skilled on the wing. Led the league in primary assists last year.

Berglund wearing #10

I’m the same way with the name game, and I guess that’s the name of the game. Do I not actually believe it or did I immediately write off both JP Losman and Trent Edwards because of it? Trash name, trash game. Lynch buys you some time as a “maybe he’ll turn into something” but he won’t.
-
I think Wentz and Ryan are both good. Names from this year’s draft: Baker Mayfield is a college football name Sam Darnold is okay Josh Rosen is great Josh Allen is really a tossup Lamar Jackson feels like a name that will have a high but short peak

Eli is a decent example. Terry Bradshaw is a terrible example. The rest sound like TV QBs who panned out.

This is correct. I just didn’t want to get into it with where I was going. They also had no involvement with bringing Incognito in. Should’ve spent time getting a safety valve, though.

Given what they have/has (McCarron) this is the most sensible outcome. Whether we’re right that Peterman is eternal garbage remains to be seen. They could have pursued other options, dive into expensive free agency (which they couldn’t afford with all the Whaley-era dead cap), trades or find a way to solidify the offensive line so a rookie can be properly evaluated and safely start. But they didn’t. So given what we know and have this is the right choice. He did look good in preseason except for the throw that separates top QBs: the out route. He doesn’t have the strength to get it safely to the sidelines or outside the numbers. Losing Wood and Incognito put them in a really tough spot. They had plenty of time to replace Wood, though. To capably replace Incognito he would’ve had to be a jackass a little sooner.
