  1. The deal is Florida’s first in 2019 (lottery protected), second and third in 2020 and prospect Dryden Hunt. Then he realizes that’s a bad deal and not enough so he adds that there must be another pick and a bad prospect included and that his source tells him there is.
  2. Lmao I’m glad I’m not alone in thinking about this. I can’t get a real feel on Josh Allen’s name, though. Feels like it could be Tim Couch or Tom Brady.
  3. If that were the actual deal it’d be such garbage.
  4. It wasn’t an accusation about race. I’ve met Flagg. I know that’s not where he’s coming from. A lot of legitimate supporters of Kap are vehement deniers of his ability purely because of the exhaustion they get from his supporters. There seems to be an overcompensation going on. His supporters (for the most part) don’t think he’s great but they’ve got to be so consistent and obnoxious in their support because there ARE people who hate him purely based on race and fake patriotism. So it makes it seem like they’re claiming he’s still a star. He’s not. But he also not as terrible as Flagg says. He’s a backup who can start in a pinch and change up your offense in some packages. He’s got a huge arm and is pretty inaccurate. Randall seemed to be seething a bit. My apologies for not being clearer. I believe Flagg may have gotten caught up in the hoopla over Kap’s actual ability vs what the impression his supporters give is. As far as Huckleberry; sorry if you’re too afraid to handle actual racism on the board you moderate and would rather tackle the person pointing it out. Yup. I just went back into the thread to see it took zero time to get to the “black friends” excuse. My lord.
  5. Who were the mentors for: Cam Newton, Russell Wilson, Matt Ryan, Drew Brees, Carson Wentz, Jared Goff, Kirk Cousins, Matt Stafford. One or two of these might have legitimate desirable answers but none meaningful that I can recall.
  6. Absolute zero interest in paying that much for a test dummy. Henne is not garbage. The Eagles might not move Foles for our first (they reportedly got offered a high second for him). And he’s not worth that outside of Philly. Schaub could likely be had for like a 4th. But still not interested in paying that when some free agent could do the same without giving up a pick.
  7. Ah, I see you meant saying a bunch of dumb racist things is a hornets nest, not judging a movie. Where to start. Wakanda is filled with black people because it’s a territory in Africa that wasn’t touched by colonization. They even make a direct joke about it. The entire purpose is that’s its Africa without white infiltration. The wall comment might be effective if the entire movie wasn’t about dismantling their policies on closing themselves out from the rest of the world. Monkey sounds? It was tribal cries and chants. Calling them monkey sounds is pure ignorance but plenty racist. Black people get one damn superhero movie and storyline and you’re upset? Seems fishy. The “real history of slavery” comment is hilarious. I’ve actually heard that one before. Everyone I’ve seen say it was inarguably racist. Blaming slavery on black people gets me every time. I legit thought you were going to mention a bunch of plot holes and maybe even some things I’d never seen mentioned. Instead you said a bunch of whiny white stuff. Lmao. Mods will slap my pp for this but your entire comment is out of line.
  8. I don’t think it is a hornets nest, at all. Discussing good movies is a good time.
  9. Please, explain some of the issues you have with Black Panther.
  10. Statistically, Kaepernick was an above-average starter on a brutal team his final season. Your anger seems to be coming from a place other than actual evaluation.
  11. No. He’s getting good starter money and has $10 million in guarantees next year.
  12. Kaepernick has the 16th best career passer rating ALL TIME. In his last 11 starts he had 2200 yards, 16 TDs and 4 INTs. He’s not the Super Bowl-caliber QB he was years ago but he’s still a good stop-gap and backup option.
  13. Case Keenum is not the man. Has to be an affordable option. Kaepernick is the best among available options.
  14. The man you’re looking for is Colin Kaepernick. But it’s not happening unfortunately.
  15. Only way the Bills end up with more shootout losses is if they trade for Jalen Ramsey.
  16. Bold prediction: the Sabres will have more wins, losses and overtime/shootout losses than the Bills this season
  17. Nate Schmidt of the Golden Knights suspended 20 games for PEDs.
  18. EJ was already cut.
  19. As pointed out by the Big Ben fiasco with Mason Rudolph the rookies aren’t really learning from the starter. The starter doesn’t have the time to give them a lot of help. Rookies learn from coaches and, if there is one, the backups.
  20. In what way did McCarron ever look like the number one? If you’re talking about “look” it was Peterman. He’s not flashy and people are still uptight about the San Diego game but he was damn good this preseason. McCarron was never the number one. When they signed him he was a tossup with Peterman at best but it was clear from day one of camp that the coaching staff saw more in Peterman. Peterman proved them right with his play.
  21. I think this is all a wee bit overdramatic. Anytime you can get a 5th for your third-string QB, you do it. If they need a body to keep Allen off the field they can add another for free while having an extra 5th.
  22. I don’t think Peterman and McCarron existed to keep Allen off the field. I think they existed for competitive reasons.
  23. Josh Allen is a big boy. If he ends up playing this year it won’t be because McCarron isn’t around.
  24. Wait is anybody actually upset with getting a 5th for McCarron? That’s a good deal. Just bought one, essentially.
  25. Wish Rasmey was on my team. Bills... or Sabres.
