  1. Yea, that was a frustrating game. Made the super bowl a little fun, though. Rooting against the Pats always adds a layer to it all.
  2. The refs cost the Jags that game but we’re also talking about the Jags who were in the AFC Championship going toe to toe with the greatest. The JAGS. They look like one of the league’s best teams again this year.
  3. Guy seems like he might be a damn good coach.
  4. Your analysis often feels like you’re assuming like 20 factors you can’t ignore.
  5. It’s been the rules forever. Of course it matters.
  6. Good call. He was still touching it whine out of bounds even if he fumbled it before he went out.
  7. Yea this isn’t the same thing as what I was saying...
  8. It’s far too early for this but eventually the Bills have to consider giving a fresh QB a good situation. They flushed the system for Allen and now he can’t make a play. Numbers aren’t brutal but he really has zero options here.
  9. The Rivers play seemed pretty standard. Announced just missed that Rivers was already near or at the ground.
  10. Rodgers has been working with the rule for years and thriving still.
  11. Allen has been “decent” at worst to this point. He’s a little off point and had two instances I thought he held it too long but it’s been clear he has nothing to go to on offense.
  12. Seeing the stands last night was a little shameful. They were half empty and that team is entertaining as hell with a few NFLers
  13. This offseason was insane. So often there are players on the block forever that never end up actually getting moved. I can’t really think of many that didn’t end up getting moved this offseason. Justin Faulk is the only one I can think of. Karlsson to San Jose Pacioretty to Las Vegas Skinner to Buffalo Tavares to Toronto O’Reilly to St. Louis Hoffman to Florida Kovalchuk to LA Hamilton to Carolina Hanifin and Lindholm to Calgary Galchenyuk to Arizona Domi to Montreal Bozak to St. Louis JVR to Philly Those are just the ones off the top of my head. I didn’t include most free agent switches, just the ones that are guys leaving franchises they’ve been with for a while that means something. All this and Rick Nash still hasn’t really went one way or the other on playing next year.
  14. Same. It’s all mostly meaningless. Not ideal that he’s missing time with the guys in camp but eh.
  15. To be honest, I watched probably 70 Sabres games last year and paid very little attention most of that time. Pommer was very productive with 16-18-34 for a guy his age and I’m sure there’s a benefit to having him around beyond what he brings on the ice. What exactly was it about his play last year that brings hate (it’s not even mild disdain, it’s been mostly hate). I’m sure I could guess but i’d like to hear more from those paying attention.
  16. The toxic side of social media is infuriating.
  17. I’ve had a very strange and “good” feeling about tomorrow since Monday. Something tells me they’ll either lose a very close one or win by at least two possessions.
  18. The only bad publicity I’ve heard from it is that it doesn’t touch on Freddie’s battle with AIDS but this movie ends two years before he was ever diagnosed. It’s not erasure. The band just wanted a different story told. I also wouldn’t be shocked if that’s a setup for the sequel.
  19. Rami Malek is one of the best actors nobody talks about. Excited to see him do Freddie.
  20. Ryan Miller’s new Ducks masks to celebrate their 25th year
  21. The Sabres didn’t put that out. The media did. Those who were there covering them skating.
  22. I’ve been saying his call during the game is bad for years, too. When comparing to other teams he gets blown out of the water.
  23. That wasn't camp. That's was voluntary work the players were doing. He's not on the official team roster.
