I haven’t seen that and if anyone is reporting it I will never trust them again. He was a massive get for them. Even if he were available Risto isn’t even a third of the price it would take.

Huge fan of real single takes. I know that movie is a fake version of that but I'm still interested to see how they do it. There's a really long single take in the beginning of an episode of Haunting of Hill House that mesmerizes me every time.

Bjork is the only real "turnover." I wouldn't consider it turnover when guys have been in the system, played on the team prior and/or play 10+ games in the lineup, especially in a 56-game season. I think you've got to find success with your own but you've also got to get things going at some point. I won't celebrate too much about guys that would be scratched on most decent teams leaving.

I’m a little surprised at the willingness to do mostly nothing to this forward group going into another season. If we do that we’re only increasing the chances of being forced into a crossroads with Eichel, thus lowering his value further.

I think the only way Eichel is dealt is if the Sabres are good with a solid but not great NHL-now top six/four player and then a bunch of picks/prospects. I don’t think any team is giving much off their active roster.

I love the buy-low on a young guy like that. Shouldn’t cost you anything of consequence in the immediate term and there’s still potential there.

Do we have any other Arcade Fire fans in here? A pretty interesting band and about as much critical success as you can expect. Every single studio album they’ve released has been nominated for a Grammy. The Suburbs is an all-time great album for me. And they’ve done a good amount of charity work, using their concerts to train people and raise a lot of money for Haiti relief (one of their members is Haitian). There’s also a lot more coming from them. They’ve said they’ve got multiple albums worth of work to get to post-pandemic and have started working on the next album I believe.
