  1. He appears to be playing tonight and will wear 96.
  2. My guess is Kevyn wants to give the new AGM a NMC but the new AGM keeps telling him they don’t give those to executives.
  3. I think that was just poorly worded. If anyone is curious: Taylor Hall will wear 71 in Boston. Lazar 20.
  4. I’m sure there were calls but it doesn’t appear he has was pushing the pace of those calls and just let this trade happen to him.
  5. He needed to get on this earlier. Big trades don’t need to happen within 24 hours of the deadline. Adams should have been working on deals for weeks by now and the day before the deadline should not have been the first time he presented a player he was obviously trading with a deal. Put pressure on Hall. Get deals in place with interested parties and bring them to Hall. Make him say no, don’t just roll over the second you’re told he only wants to go to Boston. It was a weak display from a GM with literally no hockey management experience. This is what many of us expected when he was hired without an interim tag. He did no better than any of us could have done (yes, I mean that).
  6. For the record, I view you as a very smart and good dude. I just think there are ways to learn things and have insightful conversations on hockey Twitter.
  7. If you’re seeking it out and unable to find it it’s a simple misunderstanding of the platform. I’ve never paid a penny to anyone on Twitter for their takes, either. You don’t need Twitter or any other social media platform to advance your understanding of any topic (except maybe some memes) but when used correctly they are helpful tools. The other options are censored on the board.
  8. I feel confident in saying this: you don’t know how to use Twitter if you’ve “never read an impressive hockey take on Twitter.” Full stop.
  9. I think Adams is in too deep with no help so I do think there’s a very good chance other similar deals were offered and were better but he may not be best positioned to wade through it. I also don’t understand why he made the deal last night when I can’t imagine you don’t get that deal or similar today.
  10. My thought is that Adams doesn’t have the experience to know what offer is better than the next.
  11. A quick look at her profile shows she’s a pretty in-touch hockey analyst with 21,000 people who are interested enough in what she has to say to follow her. Let’s be better than “who is this person I disagree with their opinion doesn’t matter because I didn’t know her name?”
  12. Not necessarily. The Sharks didn’t really get a ton of incentive or take away from the Blue Jackets return there.
  13. His first name gives me an upset stomach.
  14. You’re not getting Nolan Patrick for a 3rd but you’re also not getting a ton for Risto so both make sense.
  15. I’m going to be totally honest: I am unreasonably and idiotically willing to write off a prospect purely based on a dumb name.
  16. Nobody named Kiefer will ever find success in the NHL
  17. Jack Drury and Haydn Fleury for Risto. I’m calling this an E1 mostly because Haydn’s parents forgot one on his birth certificate.
  18. This is actually accurate. When he was with VGK he had every single teammate’s eGF go down with him on the ice.
  19. You wouldn’t be able to do a “hey we’re not actually offering this now but this is what we will offer in the summer” because tampering but you could definitely make him your best offer now. The problem with any sort of “hey this is what we will offer you this summer” tho is what he does for the next few months post-trade absolutely would impact his contract value.
  20. I’m not blaming him on Ullmark. You weren’t signing him to a long-term deal before. I probably wouldn’t now, either. You can’t have those conversations now TECHNICALLY because it’s tampering.
