  1. I loved this commercial!!!!! Hmm....did they also play the Fish fish McBite, McBite....fish fish McBite...fishy fishy commercial too??
  2. What has Eichel led us to except the bottom of the league standings and multiple first overall draft picks. Shouldn't be happening with a player that good. He should be lifting the play of his teammates but instead he is allowing them to drag him down.
  3. You have to get people in here that haven't been burdened by the past. Like the Bills did. They shipped out a TON of players that were around for the losing and kept only the few that still had great attitudes and wanted to work hard to turn it around and be a part of it like Kyle Williams. But most of them had to go...they were too accustomed to the losing and didn't think anything would change. I read a leadership book once and I remember the statement that he made was profound. He said "Before you can get the right people on the bus, you have to get the wrong people off the bus" In other words, anyone who isn't going to be down with the program Adams and Granato are trying to establish here have to go and it doesn't matter who they are. They gotta go. Because you cannot have key players sabotaging the coach internally and expect it to work. Eichel has gotten multiple coaches fired since his time here. Where has that gotten us? Gotta pull the plug and just say it isn't working. He is a supreme talent but that doesn't lead us to wins, so what use is it?
  4. Adams needs to stick to his guns. If Eichel gets mad and sits out, then oh well...he wasn't going to be here anyways and most of the pieces they are offering wouldn't have made a difference in the lineup this year. Wait it out. He can waste a year of his career if he wants to play it that way.
  5. Likely why Adams seems in no hurry....teams are trying to get Eichel for a bag of pucks and a few orders of chicken wings...not gonna happen. I like Georgiev but the other pieces are laughable if that is what they think is going to work. Agreed....which is why Adams basically came out and said what he said and that is he isn't making a trade just to move him. These teams are trying to get Eichel for pennies on the dollar.
  6. Looks the Rangers current offer would include Georgiev the goalie which would make Ullmark leaving more palpable as I think he will be really good... "But one individual with some knowledge of the proceedings told The Post on Thursday that the latest entreaty includes Vitali Kravtsov, Zac Jones, Alexandar Georgiev and a first-rounder, but not Chytil."
  7. Are these actually real people? Are they sure they aren't just randomly signing a guy off the street and paying him $750 to dress up in a uniform to get a headshot an make a fake bio and using a random name generator??
  8. Yes...the Bills and the NFL where they print money. Unlike the NHL where they best teams are lucky to make a few dollars and the rest bleed money.
  9. Heeeeeeeeeeeeeee's Baaaaaaaaacccckkkkk....
  10. Ullmark can basically hold the Sabres for random at this point
  11. So he goes to Chicago? Haven't done much winning out there lately and they are a little long in the tooth with their star players.
  12. Truth is nobody knows what he will be in the NHL, so all the debate about him is pointless until he gets here. Pretty sure Makar wouldn't have gone 4th in 2017 if people knew how good he would become so quickly once he got to the NHL.
  13. Flip him for more assets?
  14. If those players came to the rink with crappy attitudes and didn't really care then it might surprisingly be better. Let's stop acting like we have a bunch of guys with no talent.
  15. Gotta keep Rushing...rushing... Gotta keep rushing rushing...
  16. If this is true, we need this and need this badly: "What stands out about Prokhor Poltapov is his confidence. Despite his small 5-foot-11 stature, he plays a power game. He takes a straight-line approach to driving play and is just as likely to try to go through an opponent as he is to go around him. He also has strong puck-handling skills and can dangle or toe-drag his way around opponents. It makes him a nightmare to defend against in 1-on-1 situations because he keeps defenders guessing whether he’s going to attack them, bull rush through them, or try to go around." A guy who will go hard to the net and isn't afraid of a little contact...
  17. The sad thing is it routinely is acceptable to draft a guy in the mid teens with the hopes his upside is a 3rd line player in the NHL. Could you imagine that in the NFL? Drafting a guy at 15 with the hopes he is a good backup?? Sure some players don't pan out in the NFL but the expectation is much higher for players in the NFL in the first round than in the NHL.
  18. Dominik Hasek had a pretty small sample size in Chicago too didn't he? Not saying he will be anything close to that, but perhaps KA sees something that leads him to believe he will be a very good NHL goalie...
  19. It's gotta be Power. Unless they trade down for assets.too bad his name isn't Austin.
  20. Way more than anyone could have imagined.
  21. Wait...what??? That is a Darcy Regier level fleece job by KA!! Great value back...almost unbelievable actually...
  22. I don't buy that. So Vegas took a bunch of players that nobody wanted and suddenly all those players became talented? There is far more mental aspect to all of sports than people want to admit. Talent always seems to perform best when the environment allows it.
  23. There is no way this team should have been bottom of the NHL with Eichel and Reinhart. There are teams completely devoid of superstars and even good players for the most part that outperformed this team on a yearly basis. You don't understand the concept of getting the "wrong people off the bus" before getting the right ones on. When you take over a situation like this, you have to ship off the disgruntled players who are not with the program and don't want to be here to allow the other players to be free of negativity. Negativity kills success faster than anything. They've had plenty of time to be part of the solution, what has that gotten us? A bunch of last place finishes.
  24. We need to get the "core" players that have been here and gone through all the losing out of here. Regardless of how good they are. They are jaded and are not going to ever be able to get past that to be successful here. That's just how it is. In any organization, the players who have only lost year after year after year just need to be shipped out. They are lost, their mental ability to get past that is gone. They are beat down, and only think negatively about their time here and as soon as something goes bad, they think "here we go again". It kills their drive, their motivation, and we need to get rid of them before they poison the rest of the young team with their mindset. In essence, we need to move Eichel, Reinhart and Risto to save Dahlin, Cozens and the other young players that will form the backbone of this team as the "new core".
  25. Sure it is. Those fans don't even know what hockey is for the most part. I am talking more as fans
