So is the World Series no longer the fall classic because it's played every year? The Winter Classic is perfect. I love it. The problem is the NHL had to go and create the stadium series with 40 outdoor games per year (slight exaggeration), which completely took away the mystique.

RBs can definitely be found. But WRs, not so much. The only stud WRs I can think of who were found anywhere are Antonio Brown and Adam Thielen. Everyone else that comes to mind was at the top. I would also argue that the win probability added models generally have WR as one of the few positions that can add a full win, while linemen can't.

And this is different from Josh Allen...how?

By the end of the season they'll be what their record says they are, but they're definitely still in a spot where the overall record can be deceiving because the streak happened. The 10 wins still count, of course, but it's more influential on their "pace" at 40 games than after 82 have been played. They're a pretty average team that had a run of luck leading to wins, which is great, as it put us in the playoff conversation. But this is pretty much the same team as it was during the streak, just the luck flipping the other way and the goaltending not bailing out the mistakes as frequently.

And probably pretty representative of what the team is. I may be remembering incorrectly, but I think the prediction thread had most people expecting in the 80-point range.

As Bill James said, the one common thing that all bad teams do is blame their best players for all of their problems. Amazing how true it is. That was me.

This is a Pi-level bad opinion.

The NFL games on Christmas are routinely horrible though, featuring bad teams because of dumb tradition. The NBA gives premier matchups everyone wants to see. Except the Knicks this year, not sure what happened there.

I don't know if I'll have kids, but I'd have given up one of them to draft Baker. Far and away the best from the draft. Really the only one without any questions (unless you hold the flag plant against him, which you shouldn't, as it was awesome). Oh well. Good for Cleveland.
