Mostly, yea. Although some more offensive juice from our bottom-6 would be nice, and I still want another top-4 Dman. Anyway, I think Matthews is better than Eichel as a whole. He's a better goal scorer, generally better defensively (though Jack has made some big strides this year), and is currently pacing for more points in fewer games. Eichel is a considerably better playmaker. However, I don't think the delta between them is particularly large, nor is it ever likely to be determinitive in terms of which team is better.

I can only assume Hoss will be at your next game, since he's incapable of having fun otherwise.

I'll say. I mean sure it sucks to lose with 2.7 seconds left in OT, but I can't imagine being down after this game. We went toe-to-toe with one of the best 4 teams in the league, Eichel scored 2 goals, we controlled OT outside of 1 shift. All while playing most of the game with 5 D. I'm way more encouraged about the Sabres tonight than after some of the wins during the streak.
