With respect, I think trying to paint it as firing Bylsma because of the players is the wrong way to look at it. Bylsma should be fired because he's a bad coach. That some players may have recognized he's a bad coach is neither here nor there. If Murray still thinks Bylsma is a good coach, then we have bigger problems whether he fired him or not.

Dan Bylsma could stab Murray's wife and not get fired before the season is over. Of this I am certain. Except that we know the truth to be the exact opposite of this. Young stars get treated differently in every sport for every coach.

Doesn't it kinda depend what we mean by #1 center? If it's purely time on ice, then Carp is right, and it's due to PK time. If we mean matching up with the other team's best forwards, I would say it's because Jack is still poor defensively...but even if he wasn't, I don't want him taking those matchups anyway. Why stifle his offense?

I fundamentally don't understand why people panic over routine storms. Never will. Even if it's the full foot....you're stuck inside for what, part of a day? Then again, I normally have enough food to survive on for a bit anyway....which brings me to another thing I don't understand: people who shop day-to-day. The players can't have a say on Bylsma until they've won something...but once they've won something, wouldn't that mean Bylsma doesn't deserve to get fired? I guess Murray should just cancel all player exit interviews for the next 7 years :rolleyes:
