I call BS on that. No freaking way are they moving Ehlers.

Because his reputation is probably higher than his play would dictate it should be, and that team needs forward talent in a bad way.

I'm fully prepared to either hate our goaltending situation going into the season, or hate the price we paid to make me comfortable. I see no middle ground here

Ristolainen, O'Regan and Baptiste - Sabres Next Season?
TrueBlueGED replied to GASabresIUFAN's topic in The Aud Club
I just don't think trying to avoid a once or twice in a lifetime thing is worth sacrificing the merits of AWD if you live in a snowy climate. After all, half the reason I'm even remotely interested in a crossover is for winter driving (and yes, I realize that people in southern climates only needing 2WD are one of the big reasons it's standard, but I'm on a roll, leave me alone!). I'm probably 4-5 years away from having the money for the crossover I want, so I'll probably stick with a car next summer when I get a new one, but you can bet whenever I get a crossover I'll be getting AWD unless I live in southern California or something. One thing I think we might be able to agree on: digital speedometers are the freaking worst. I can't stand the way they look. Give me a good ol' analog dial any and every day. -

Eh, I have yet to have a flat tire that isn't easily repaired by a patch. I know it can happen, but it seems to be a pretty weak reason to reject a superior drievtrain. I agree with you on traditional 4WD, but that's gone the way of the dodo in practical vehicles, so whatever. -

I don't get the pickup unless you have a specific need for it, but a nice crossover/SUV makes a ton of sense for many people. Have a family? A bigger dog? Drive in crappy weather?** Want to be able to buy appliances without worrying about delivery price/timing? Perfect! **Front-wheel standard on crossovers is the dumbest thing the automotive industry is currently doing. AWD should be standard. Well la dee freakin' da  True enough for pickups, but midsize crossovers will normally have you in the mid-20s. -

Why the hate for GMC and Chevy? The Sierra and Silverado are great trucks, and Chevy's line of cars and crossovers is quite good these days--this isn't the early 2000s. -
I know plenty of people still have an irrational hatred for him, but LeBron is just incredible. I definitely feel lucky to have watched his entire career (which is nowhere close to over). He just might drag arguably his worst team ever to the Finals at age 33 and with 15 years and a ton of playoff miles. Unreal.

I don't mean to nitpick (okay, I do), but this is sorta like saying GMC sucks but I'd settle for a Chevy. -
If Kessel were to choose Wardzynskis over Sahlens, I'd finally believe he's a locker room problem.

Well, a new hockey arena would be considerably cheaper than a new football stadium. It might even make more sense to staple a new convention center to an arena than to a stadium. However, where would a new arena leave the current one and Harborcenter? Would it be a demo/replacement of the current arena? If so, where does the team play in the meantime? If not, what do they do with the existing facility? I'm fascinated by this all.

You might be right, but he's not even close to a HoF goalie if I'm a voter.

See, I don't think having Jack in his off wing necessitates constantly teeing him up for one timers. It's a tactical choice. He can be in the same spot and utilize his passing more, while still keeping the option for the shot. Watch the Flyers and how Giroux handles the exact same position. Moving him to the other side removed the one timer option, and I don't like doing that.

I, for one, am shocked that an ardent Trump supporter would believe he's being surveiled by the government.

Don't have one, don't need one.

No, but his liver is at least that old.

Pierre LeBrun‏Verified account @PierreVLeBrun 4m4 minutes agoMore The deal also includes a modified no-trade; Kane can pick 3 teams he's willing to be traded to That's some pretty great protection for Kane and something the Sharks are almost certainly going to regret before the contract runs out.

Good man. -
It's hard to describe how all-in I am on the Caps. I didn't think they'd get past Tampa, but I was pulling for them. Now it's no-contest; go get thay Cup Ovi!

A new convention center stapled to it and year-round restaurant and retail space. That's about the only consistent thing I can think of. Edit: a transportation hub would make sense too, but given a new train station is already being built, I find such an investment highly unlikely.

Shooting didn't work for the last five periods, so they're trying a new strategy.

I can't believe that I can't believe it wasn't called. I should be completely unsurprised.

I'm willing to sacrifice a puppy to see O'Reilly on Jack's wing for an extended period of time. Like you, I think they'd be dynamite.

Eh, if Jack is playing with a Backstrom or Kuznetsov level of talent, I've got no issues with the third wheel being a role player.
