yeah, I can agree with that. Put a kid there, can't hurt.
  2. I really think that most of mental issues can be solely blamed on Ruff and nothing else. Seems as though he has the ability to mentally break down a player but does not have the ability to get them right again. Poor quality if you ask me.
  3. You say all this, while true, it was within Ruffs system. Obviously Ruffs system didn't work and hasn't worked for some years now, or he would still be here. I'm hoping these guys perform at a higher lever in a newer different approach from Rolston. I believe there is talent on this team, but has never been realized because of Ruff.
  4. So if LR and DR are best of friends and DR hand was forced by Black or Pegula, does DR resign at the end of the year cause he is irritated with TP and/or TB? We can only hope. :D
  5. that would be a site. RW behind the bench. lol
  6. I kinda hope they don't promote Patrick. Never have been impressed with the way he runs the defense. I wouldn't mind seeing him get the boot also.
  7. Good call, I bow to you Callaway. I'm not worthy. :worthy:
  8. and who would have thought it was McCormick holding them back from going on a cup run this year.
  9. At one point in time years ago, I thought so also. Reflecting back, i don't think so. He had 3 players, Hasek, Drury, Briere. When he has actually had to "coach" without those 3, he hasn't done very well. The PP has stunk for a long time, defense has also stunk for a long time, seems to make head cases out of players, a former player is quoted as saying Ruff is the harshest coach he had ever played for, there is other stuff too. The more we keep hearing stuff about Ruff and the more we analyze his tenure here, the picture being painted is screaming at Ruff not being a very good coach. If uncle Terry wants to attract top shelf free agents, Ruff needs to go along with Darcy.
  10. don't forget not covering up the post on the 2nd goal that bounced off the back boards. ryan left a country mile between his skate and the post allowing that 2nd goal to be scored. fleury had the exact same situation and covered the post resulting in, no goal. outcome might have been different if that post had been covered.
  11. If that was dirty, then every Kaleta hit is dirty. Was the same kind of hit.
  12. Obviously you don't watch enough hockey games that don't involve the sabres. It's not about the goalie opposite Miller when the sabres play. But whatever keep dreaming that our mediocre goalie is going to take us to the promise land like some believed R Fitzpatrick was the answer for the Bills. I want a guy who is better at stopping the puck and keeps his yap shut in the locker room.
  13. Hey skippy, I understand the game perfectly fine. So a goalie is not allowed to be better than Miller just because he has played less games? Great logic! and so what if Rask had a bad game, it's plenty fewer than Miller has had this year. How many games in a row did Ryan give up 4 goals? 5, yeah that's sooooo much better goaltending, please!
  14. I have no problems with Ennis at all. I like the kid, he is entertaining, hustles all the time, and is very skillful.
  15. I am not going to get in a Miller pissing match but I honestly can't believe you can't figure that out. Come on, you need to watch some other games. So far this year I have seen somewhere north of 75 games and trust me, their are a lot of goalies playing better than Ryan. Crawford, Niemi, Anderson, Rinne, Rask(and the back up Khobolin or what ever his name is), Fasth, Lehtonen, Price, Halak when healthy, Backstrom, Lundqvist, etc. and there is more.
  16. Thank you. Quite frankly, Millers act is getting as old and tired as Ruffs is. He's good for a handful of games then bad for a handful of games, good again, then bad again. He has critiqued and thrown teammates under the bus numerous times. He also stops extremely difficult breakaway shots, yet has a penchant for letting in fairly routine blue line shots. I just think it is also time for Miller to go. Too many better goalies out there in the league Buffalo could get.
  17. I don't care what anybody says, I think he is a cancer in the locker room. When he has constantly talked like that about teammates, how can it not be. I also don't recall one single player calling him out when he is not playing good, which seems to be more frequent.
  18. How many GMs and coaches would be lining up for the Buffalo gigs if R&R get the ax? I think just about everybody associated with hockey at one time or another, as Buffalo has proven time and time again you don't have to be successful for job security.
  19. Good article. I have to believe Terry P. and T. Black are starting to get that itch to change things, they have to be. I have to believe that or what was the point of Terry P. buying the team and bringing T. Black along for the ride. I think in this case Terry P's silence is deafening because he is having a hard time coping with the thought of ridding the Sabres of R&R.
