  1. What does any of this matter when he consistently lets in weak goals from the blue line?
  2. Bore me, please. Those Tampa teams he played on were horrible and it is safe to say Miller had a better team than did Smith during Smiths Tampa years.
  3. Why in the world would Phoenix do that, they have Mike Smith. Smith is better than Miller. I think fans are going to find out Miller doesn't have much value because of his contract and frankly he isn't that good of a goalie.
  4. I agree with you JJ. The bold part gave me a chuckle. Miller is almost entering the pro Fitzpatrick land with the excuses.
  5. No he didn't. Miller started 05/06 as #1 then broke his thumb and Biron came in and played however many games in a row, then Ryan was given the job back.
  6. Isn't that what they did with Miller? Just gave him the job, right? They didn't ease him into it, he didn't prove anything before it was given to him.
  7. He showed it. Start of 2011/2012, look it up. 11 of the 15 games he played, his sv% was .923 or higher. He only had 9 more starts the rest of the year and 4 of those starts he had .923 sv% or higher. His sv% was better than Millers last year. What were you looking for?
  8. Again I ask, why can't Enroth be the #1 guy in Buffalo?
  9. Yep it should. I see you advocating for J Bernier in the GD thread. Why him over Enroth? Extremely similar career stats. Same age, similar body. Why Bernier over Enroth?
  10. Really? when was he ever given a chance to be consistent?
  11. Yep, Enroth was good for sure. If they are going to rebuild, and I think that is their only option, you rebuild around Enroth not Miller.
  12. I think he is an average goalie at best. Anyway, who would want a goalie on the downhill slide? Maybe a superstar goalie on the downhill slide has some value but I can't see someone wanting an average goalie on the downhill slide. Especially not for $6+ million per.
  13. I can't wait either, as I think they will get better in goal, which will hopefully lead to more wins. I'm on board with that.
  14. who cares what he won 4 years ago, it's old news. sports are all about what have you done for me lately and can you help me win now. the answer to that is no not really. time to move on.
  15. Luckiest guy right now is TJ Brennan. He's got to be really happy to leave this mess.
  16. Well, Ruffs system didn't work. Rolston had to play Ruffs system in Rochester. Hmmm.....
  17. He's closer to 5 feet than he is 6 feet. Doh!
  18. FWIW, Enroth was statistically, GAA and SV% better last year, with a worse W/L record, than he was in his rookie year, all while playing and starting almost twice as many games. That means the team around him was bad, all while he improved his game, statistically speaking. Miller will never get to another conference final again. Book that, Roger, out!
