I don't think it is going to be as difficult as you think. Don't confuse consistency with being great. In RM case he has been consistently average and it is not difficult to replace average.
-
Haha, yeah right, because 12-22 is sooooooo much better.
-
It's tough to show any kind of consistency when he only gets maybe one opportunity per week. There is only one way for him to prove he can or can't do it night in and night out and that is to be given the chance to succeed Miller.

And here is what would have been said if it had been Miller letting in those goals. 1 where was the defense, Sulzer sucks. Not Millers fault, he can't play defense also. 2 the team sucks, Semin went through all 5 guys and Erhroff just stood there, great defense Christian. I don't fault Ryan on that one. 3 Ott screwed up, he needs to take the body, that shot shouldn't have even gotten off. Nothing Miller could do. 4 Miller was screened in front. Defense needs to clear out and let him see the shot. Miller would have stopped it if he could see it, that one is not on him either, the defense needs to do a better job. These are the lame excuses that would have been made had Miller performed exactly as Enroth did last night, and everybody here knows it. -

why not? miller has done that for years -
ignorance is bliss isn't it. like i said, who died and left you boss? it's an opinion board and it doesn't need you running around here correcting people because their opinion differs from yours.

Nice, I like that. -
Just curious, who died and left you boss? It's obvious by this post, you are one of the one's who thinks they run the show around here. It's no wonder why newbies don't stay.

No it hasn't, it has actually picked up. You are right, but, I guarantee you he is not as good next year as he is this year. He won't be as good post Olympics either because he will be pouting from not playing. Miller seems to be cyclical. Olympics ring a bell, they happen once every 4 years. That will be the next time you see an increase in his play which will have dropped off after this year. Then again it may not as he will be pushing 38.

Trading him should be Murrays first priority.
-
yeah, same here.

couldnt have been lori. she was eaten by a zomball in the furnace room in the prison, then rick killed him.

Agree with you 100% Robv. I don't want that slug anywhere near the youngsters.

Friday night fight night. Whoooohooooo.....

Nolan should take him out behind the wood shed and put a whoopin on him. Ted was a tough guy back in the day, I bet he could still whoop Staffs arse.

you also might want to think about used skates at like play it again sport as they are already broke in and will be a little easier on your feet, not to mention cheaper.
-
I think it should be Vanek. I also think we are going to see a different Vanek this year. It was no secret that Ruff rode him hard (that doesn't sound good) and they didn't get along, and I really think that hampered his play. I'm hoping Vanek plays even better under Rolston because I think Rolston will treat him better.

Ahh, Guinness, yum! Keeping the homeland in business!

Yes, I get that but. With finding young talent there are still quite a few holes to fill. Not that I want him to sign just anybody but there has been a whole lot of young players moving around via trade or FA signing and Buffalo does hav a lot of cap space to play with.
-
Just counting official NHL guys. The others have 2 way contracts or are AHL guys. But yes, I see what you are saying.
-
Darcy only has 10 forwards signed, 2 RFAs, 5 defensemen now that Sulzer signed and he has $15.2 million in cap space. It's over 27 hours into free agency what the hell is Darcy waiting for? I could see not doing anything if he was up against the cap or had most if not all positions filled. He doesn't have either and yet nothing from him. I don't get what his master plan is, his actions do not make any sense.

No! if they are going with the youth movement, than go with the youth movement 100%, not half asssed.
