He's closer to 5 feet than he is 6 feet. Doh!
-
FWIW, Enroth was statistically, GAA and SV% better last year, with a worse W/L record, than he was in his rookie year, all while playing and starting almost twice as many games. That means the team around him was bad, all while he improved his game, statistically speaking. Miller will never get to another conference final again. Book that, Roger, out!
-
yeah me too! Sold him a line of crap about being a good team to get him here. I don't think he really wanted to come here but was talked into it.

Yep, I also fear the Ruff ruined some of these guys mentally. It is one big cluster eff and the only way to fix it might be to get rid of just about everybody. Rolston really is in a no win situation. It would be a miracle if he could turn this thing around and at least have them be respectable.

IDK about worst of all time, but man, did they absolutely suck against the Flyers in the 1st period last night. That was horrible, they should each give a refund of their game checks.

Defenseman prospects could use more size/sandpaper
Ross Rhea replied to Happy Days's topic in Archive
What is ideal size? IDK, seems like much to do about nothing. Brennan is 6'1" 215, Pysyk and Leduc are 6'1" / 6'2" about 195lbs and going to fill out. By contrast, Subban is 6' 212, Phaneuf is 6'3" 215, Letang is 6' 200. Scott Stevens is listed as 6'2" 215, he hit pretty good. Alex Zhitnik was only 5'11" 205, he was pretty physical. Of course there are guys like Chara, Weber, Byfuglien etc who are monsters but the Sabres defenseive youngsters will be fine as far a size goes. Meanness? Who knows, TBD. -
Ray, May, I like violence.

I hope you have similar mindset about Miller also.

Too me they have more skill than heart. I see a bunch of lazy players not willing to hustle or do any dirty work and always peel off a check, save a few guys. -

no one has any hustle except Gerbe and Ott. -
So in your eyes Kaleta steamrolled him huh? Can't say as I have seen too many hard crashes into the boards by a guy getting as minimal a a push as that. That light push was not the sole factor as why and how hard Richards crashed. There was another factor, we just don't know what it was. It's all speculation and Richards will never say a word.
-
I didn't think so at all. It is something you see numerous time every game by numerous players. I think Kaleta ever so gently pushed him at the same time Richards was losing his balance. Why does Richards go to one knee? Kaleta didn't push him hard enough for him to go to one knee, he had already started to lose his balance as Kaleta pushed him.
-
Are you saying you would rather look good and lose opposed to looking bad and winning. It's a work in progress for RR and I will take the later. I think this team just plods along and looks bad and loses if Ruff was still calling the shots.
-
that right there speaks volumes as to how much of a cluster eff Ruff had turned this team into.
