Sabres Fan in NS

The bit of a sidetrack discussion was the direct result of someone posting something about most disliked Sabre and putting Bergy on that list, so I do not see how anything relatd to that is off-topic. Just my 2.5 cents Canadian, which would be approximately 2 cents US. Bergy would not be on my list. +++++ For the record, I do not think the thread should be locked, or cleaned up. Mods have been around, so I think they would have cleaned it up by now, if they thought it warranted, IMO. Does anyone know where Bergy is? I hope he is hanging in there, as they say.

No other team will trade for KO, simply because the Sabres are not interested in trading him. I am convinced that they still believe that he is a big part of the veteran leadership of this team and that he'll contribute in other ways again soon. He still seems to be recovering from what happened last season.

I really think that this goalie academy thing is the best thing the Sabres and Bills PR folks have ever done.

This is correct, but so far as I know very few want to remember that he quit on the team in an extremely bizarre and public way. The others I don't care that much about now, but when arguably the best player to ever wear your team's sweater and arguably the greatest ever to play a position quits on your team it should be remembered. As far as I know, Weave and myself are the only ones here on a regular basis who have ever voiced a word against Sir Dom.

I just read dark's post and it seems that Smell says that he agrees with dark and then goes on to refute that agreement by saying many players are simple. Maybe Smell is not quite sure of the difference, but I doubt that is the case. Anyway, I agree with you. It's all very confusing, but simple is not the same as simple-minded, or stupid.

I'm an accountant and for 15 year have run my own practice. I like it, but am now looking for some part-time 'jobs' at real companies, as I have some time since my friend passed away ... not really up to building it all up again. The image you linked made me remember an ad for a 'Pumping Station Attendent' for Halifax Water. Right in the ad it said ... 'Are you not afraid of rats. How about cramped spaces. How about strong odours. Well, this is the job for you'. Nope. Will. Not. Do. It. They also needed to be one of you, so that eliminated me anyway, but who puts that stuff in an ad. I suppose they have to for full disclosure.
