  1. As a team they are centrally aspirational.
  2. Enjoy the faux-guilt of the "we really shouldn't be doing this" vibe.
  3. Well, maybe true. But not based on that goal. Those goals just happen from time to time. A puck with eyes. Crazy.
  4. As a team, they are much more competitive within the game. They are IN every game of late. There is a second line. Ennis-Zemgus-Moulson There are two defensive Pairs: Gorges-Myers Risto-Zads I'm much less worried about goal-tending. Enroth might not be the final dominant answer - but he might just be a Marty Biron. I don't think you need to worry much about finding bottom 6 forwards they can always be found. What is needed is a top forward line and a bottom D pair. That's some progress in my mind even if the team isn't more competitive in the league standings yet.
  5. This counts as one post.* * X. Benedict in Post-padding mode
  6. I had a chance to get tickets to see the Blue Man group. But I said to myself, not this holiday season. d4rk will be hitting 20K, and I'm not really sure what the Blue Man Group is.
  7. SONY Usa is a subsidiary of SONY, a Japanese company. Japan has its own history with Korea. I am sure that Japanese board members had a say in pulling the film. That's what I was referring to.
  8. American subsidiary of a Japanese company I believe.
  9. There was a time when just latex gloves and a rubber inflation bulb were enough. Juice cleanse? What's the world coming to?
  10. Country = SONY ?
  11. I really don't think it was that. The guy took the draw. If Nolan had an issue with Hodgson on that play, it was probably because Hodgson followed his own draw to the wall, chasing the puck, which froze his wing and point and left center ice open.
  12. If you could call Hodgson for a mistake on that play, it was most likely that Hodgson chased the puck to the wall, when he should have stayed put, which confused Risto.
  13. I've only really seen much of D'Amigo from the Junior Worlds. Really liked him then.
  14. I actually don't make too much of Hodgson's benching yesterday. As a coach, you want to hold someone on that shift responsible for the short-handed goal. The guy that really got caught flat-footed was Ristolainen at point, but Nolan didn't have the bench to sit him. Easy call........bench Hodgson. Everyone gets the message. Tough break Hodgy.....you're in a place were the coach can make a message out of you.
  15. I wasn't unhappy with his play last night. He was disciplined and for the most part played a safe 2 way game.
  16. Loved Deslauriers last night. It was a a rout and he didn't stop throwing the body around.
  17. For the record, I really like Gionta. He's got your back. Small moment in the game last night....he literally pulls E. Kane off of of Foligno back. Those moments add up.
  18. A healthy dose of what this team is capable of last night.
  19. Except for my profile on sabreymadison.com I'm a monogomous hockey forum guy.
  20. Well, stick taps to the end of a nice run.
  21. I never thought it would happen to me.
  22. Ahem......woman, I think. I've liked Delauriers game. Win the shift, advance the puck, hit like a train.
  23. I think I set the over/under for points this year at 68.5. Currently on a 74 point pace for the year.
  24. I never agreed with my principal. He gave me detention just for drinking beer and smoking in the school board room when I should have been in wood shop.
  25. I wonder who will jump out of the KHL next year. The dollar has doubled against the ruble since the summer. I wonder if a guy like Jan Kovar, a 24 year old Czech, would jump leagues.
