I wouldn’t consider the the Amerks as “bare.” They are 6-3-1. Players on the team include Quinn, Ruotsalainen, Samuelsson, Laaksonen, 6K, and Bryson, Borgen and Asplund before they were brought up. I could also see Murray as a solid bottom line player, as well as Pekar with the right development.

He was. The Sabres started developing him, then flipped him for Regehr. He’s since progressed to be a useful piece for other teams.
