I can't imagine what it's like to be a Sabre fan in that environment. Next time, I would be down to go there with ya though!

I should have said, people HAVE BEEN debating the legality of the hit. Boston posters appear to believe it was legal. Some of them even have gone so far as to say Lucic eased up before the hit.

People can debate the legality of the hit, but Lucic gets suspended because: 1. He is a repeat offender 2. It was deemed illegal in some way, otherwise no penalty would have been called 3. It was Ryan Miller, whom the NHL still uses as one of it's top faces of the game 4. It caused an injury 5. The hit has become a huge story. If the NHL is trying to reduce injuries/concussions, a message needs to be sent, and they need to show a commitment to that plan.

That's actually a pretty cool idea for a thread. When I was a little kid, me and my dad went to an Amerks playoff game in Utica against the Devils. 1990? They talked $h!t all game. Afterwards, they were throwing rocks and bottles at my dads car when we were leaving. I think they turned over the Amerks bus too, but I dont remember.
