  1. I agree, but apparently I was in the minority of people that felt he shouldve stayed in Buffalo instead of going back to the Q
  2. If its 2 years, it's actually a pretty big difference at this stage. It's not very impressive if a 21 year old is dominating 16 year olds.
  3. And still, no one REALLY knows for sure how old he is? In this day and age, it can't be figured out?
  4. This thread would look better if it was stitched into the new third jerseys.
  5. There can only be one Barry Sanders.
  6. So, what you are saying, is all 12 current forwards are great at defending in their own zone? Also, all the current starting forwards are the future of the Sabres? Not sure where you came up with your CoHo theory. If Grigs is projected to be a part of the Sabres future, and he can't go to the AHL where he needs to be, then yes he should be in Buffalo where he can learn by being around pros setting a good example, and benefitting from their skating coach.
  7. Good for Grigs. The Sabres are the worst team in the NHL. Not all 12 current forwards are better than him, nor have a future with the club. He has already proven himself in the Q. Not many of us get the chance to stand up to our employers, and I am happy to see Grigs doing it.
  8. This should be a day full of great FFF posts.
  9. From an old TBN article in 2002: A few months ago, Nolan saw the movie "Ali" and starting thinking. Muhammad Ali went to prison after refusing to fight in the Vietnam War. He was exiled from boxing, but he never stopped thinking he was a champion. Eventually, he came back and proved himself again. "I never stopped being a coach," Nolan said. "And I never stopped being a good coach."
  10. Your Donkey has never seen a Penguin? For shame.
  11. Nolan was offered jobs and turned them down, but I agree that he was blacklisted after what happened with Muckler then Regier. He also spent time focusing on his young family for awhile. I'm betting Kaleta is back REAL soon.
  12. The polarization regarding Nolan is interesting. Seems like all of you either love or hate him. That's usually the sign of a good coach.
  13. How deep is this hatchet being buried?
  14. Depends on who the QB is, and how well their line is protecting them.
  15. Oh boy, what a goal by Jonathan Quick.
